Should be just fine with how warm the summer is going to be. I'm happy with the a6 s right now but I have a feeling they will go over an edge after we get into the 90s with surface temps over 100. We will see. The r 6s will work great for you As it gets warmer!
Let me know if you still want to go you are welcome to ride with get some ride time in. I have no prob with people riding during runs. Unless its the last run and I haven't got a clean run In yet.

Yeah seat time even just riding along can help. I'm always down for anyone to ride along also, I don't care if its the first or last run. I like showing off or at least trying.

You guys and your heavier sti's can put more heat in those bigger tires.

Just be sure to bring the spray bottle to cool them between runs and you will have no problems.

I think we all will need something like that, learned our lesson last year.

Esp during the test and tunes or schools, lots of driving with not much time in between runs.

Jeremy, Thanks again for the ride. I truly enjoyed! I was so looking forward to racing this season, but this changed it all up, and now I'm even more excited for upcoming seasons. The subie will be sold on Sunday. I am picking up an MR2 Turbo Saturday in MD. Once that thing is pieced together and I trust enough, I will be out in it. Now THAT should be fun! In the meantime, I will still attend to watch and learn. Hopefully I will make one or two races this season. We will find out soon enough.

Sounds good man, you are still more then welcome to ride along. You can always come a little early on race day to walk the course and see how we decipher the layouts too. Sad to see no subie but good on ya.

Added link to GRIPfest on May 26th. $150 for +/- 10 runs on a 2.5 mile track, set up time attack style, no head to head racing. It is about a 2 hour drive from the HR area.

Now to conivince the wife.

No problem. I will be off work here pretty soon, and I have to get my state inspection done, but after that we can work something out for your tune this weekend.

Just looked at the schedule for tomorrow, registration and tech close 10:00, there is a slight chance I can still make it. Working ten hours through the night and then heading straight up will make for a very long day.

Just woke up, trying to see if they changed the time I have to work. I am still packing the car up tonight in case I can get out a bit early. The boss man knows I have been planning on racing way before they changed this working schedule. He has been helping me work on the car too and understands racing is my outlet.

A good chance I might still try and come up there even if I can't race, I would hate to just have to watch though.
