Default Maybe headed to Breckenridge

Im looking at schools around Breckenridge, CO and was curious how the car seen is around there. Or just how it is to live there.

And a couple of pictures just for fun.

I was there just 3 weeks ago. #1 advise for sure is DO NOT BE LOWERED and make sure to have snow Tires!!!
I only noticed a high school, didn't see any Colleges or University's near Breckenridge. It's more of a Ski/Snowboard, camp resort.

I know someone from SLC went to Colorado State which is in Bolder, they had an Epic Pass. They ended up moving back to SLC and finished there degree at Westminster, complained that to ski from Bolder was too much of a hassle, it would take all day to ski. Compared to SLC you can get a half day in and still make it to class.

In Utah you have the U of U, Weber State, and Westminster that are close to resorts. My advice if you want to ski and go to school Utah is a better choice.

Just my opinion, I noticed you have a ski rack.

Other than that Breck is a nice area, Colorado has good schools as well.

Keep your car in a locked garage, apparently Colorado has thief's hungry for Subaru's

I have looked at Utah some, but am leaning towards CO. Anyone attend any nice Community Colleges around Breck they would recommend?

I moved back to UT - if you are going to school, it is a good place. The mountains are wonderful and when it snows (damn you weather....) the skiing and snowboarding is obviously top notch. Subarus are everywhere here as they are needed in the winter with the hills and usual snow.

I was going to go to school but I don't think I can support myself with what I am making. Maybe going to get a CDL.

Salt Lake is a decent town - reasonable nightlife, not far from Vegas really, outdoor activities are a few min away.

I have never been to Breckenridge though. I was looking into Boulder before I moved out here.

Breck is amazing. Colorado Mountain College has many campus' in the area. If your from WA, you will love the lifestyle/community. Gets a bit slower during the summer months, but its an amazing place.

Like someone said before, check out awdpirates.net. We are currently down until 5:00 pm tomorrow for maintenance purposes. Lots of active members.
