Default Double Din installation

Hey does any one know another way of installing a double din into a 05 06 07 legacy GT with auto climate control instead of buying the jdm kit for 350. because the radio is connected the climate control which is stupid. America always gotta alter things and make them worse than what it is.

That sucks!! SO glad I have the regular dash! My Z110 dropped right in with a regular kit. Is there no way to convert the stuff on the back side to regular controls?

Yeah.. I looked into this too as well.. there are a few DIY for cutting and making your own Dash but it seems like a pain.. And I really don't want to spend 320 for the JDM one.. GRRR Legacy's

Jdm seems like the way to go. It's pretty much the only way to do it without some super crazy fab and wiring work.

Can you convert the auto a/c controls into the normal controls? If so then you could do that mod and then do this right?
