Default No Boost

So yesterday my 2004 WRX stopped making boost. The turbo will spool and the gauge will travel up through the vacuum section and then stop right at 0 psi. It is almost as if the waste gate is opening at 0 psi. The car just falls flat on it's face at that point. There is no CEL and no lines seem to me disconnected or broken. Also there is no disconnect on any of the change piping. Could the BCS be bad? I have no aftermarket boost controller and just an STI TMIC so it must be an issue with the stock parts. But what? It just happened out of the blue. Drove find on the way to the gym, left the gym and it wasn't working. Why would it do this? I am at a loss as my snapon scanner shows no codes. The car just will not make boost. I need some helpful insight. Thanks.

If it were the ebcs then I would hope it would throw a code, and if it did it would be a waste gate solenoid, I suggest check the hoses on the wastegate and the ebcs also look into to doing a smoke/leak down test best way to figure out if u got a leak. Back to the beginning sorry I get off on tangents but it kinda sounds like the solenoid or the wastegate sorry I couldn't help that's my two cents.

Visually check the wastegate flapper arm and vacuum line. Open it thru its range of motion first by hand. With the car off and cool.

I wonder if the bypass/blowoff valve is stuck open.

Smoke tests are a great way to really zone in on a finicky boost issue.

It could be the vacuum line to your wastegate, did you check to see if your restrictor pill fell out?
