Hey guys, heres a background on my car. 2004 STi Built engine stock bore, gt35, AEM standalone EM, and all the trimmings....
The problem: first starts in the morning or starts after sitting(cold) I get a wierd fluctuation in idle 1K-1.7K it will start normal then jump and hold for about 3-5 seconds at higer rpm then drop. When its warm after 10mins of driving it seam to even out although still not smooth. Recently its been dying out, coming to stops, idle dips below 1K and then sometime it dies. Is this a tune issue? Fuel issue? Or could it be electrical? Any idead would be appreciated. Also if it was a fuel issue, would switching from E85 to pumpgas(current tune) be a factor? i.e injectors/fuelrail damage or clog? ITs been about 2 months since the retune.

It's your IAC (idle air control valve) those dam things are very finicky especially when controlled by other then stock ECU's. You can try and clean it, if you do get the gasket for it as the old one will not be usable.
