Sorry, read that wrong, I thought it said black caliper. Yes, the letters come in two different sizes. The rear calipers have smaller lettering

Dude, Thats awesome! I have thinking about doing that same thing for weeks now ever since I got my sport mesh grille. Can you tell us what LED strips you used and how you wired them up please?!

I think that those lights would make bad-a$$ DRLs.

Just let me know if you wanna do it man. I'll give you the rundown on everything with pics and all. Simple installs. I have LED's in my DRL's. 1600 lumens and my fog light LED's are 1200 lumens. I've still got the links to everything.

What are you trying to do exactly? DRL's or the grille lights?

. Alpena Rugged LED's. Can withstand -20 degree temps and they are waterproof. I can't find them ANYWHERE online. I bought them at Auto Zone a few weeks ago. They are perfect for under your grille. The strips fit perfectly under the grille perfectly and tapes down. Tricky at times. The wires pop through the tiny gap at the top of the sports mesh grille. And they splice into your parking light wire (black wire with green stripe on main lighting connector). Your negative LED wire could connect to any negative. In my case it's my LED DRL negative (black no white stripe) wire.

You can see the blue splicer on the main connector. The other splicer that you can't see in the pic is attached to my LED DRL negative wire but can be attached to a negative of your choice. Basically don't do anything until you test with a volt meter. From the connector to the battery.

This is my baby! She's back on the stock wheels for winter time, kept the aftermarket lugs on though. The factory no-seasons really are crappy, I can't wait to wear them down so I can justify buying actual winter tires.

Nice! The fact that they're factory-spec all-season tires should be reason enough to get winters!

SOA Blog says the new WRX with CVT will get up to 30 MPG, just FYI.

I really love the look of the hatch, though, if I had to choose. And since you're mostly getting it as a new daily and want good gas mileage, I think a Sport would be right up your alley.

Definitely! I suppose the real reason is that it's hard to justify the expense when I have a set of relatively usable tires haha. I have '11 WRX wheels for the summer on Falken Azenis! They served me well at the auto-x meets.

Girlfriend's new Impreza. It handled the six inches of snow no problem! Not surprised.

I tagged along too...

My Impreza was in the shop getting it's 30k done when we got snow, so when I got it back I cleaned it up real nice. Upside is that I've got a nice clean car again. Downside is that now that it's clean, and since I've got an RS too, it's been hanging out in the garage instead of going out to play like it did last year.

By the next snowfall, it should be dirty enough to escape the garage.
