Thanks -- nope, I haven't done anything to the brakes.

What is a prime lens? I just got my 2nd DSLR and I'm looking to take better pictures.

To put it simply, a "prime lens" is a lens that is fixed and does not zoom.

What DSLR do you have? If you have a Canon, a popular choice is the Canon 50mm f/1.8

You need to play! I have a Nikon D3100 & I'd say my two best purchases were a 50mm 1:1.8 prime lens and a super zoom lens. Can't go wrong. The prime is perfect with the car shots & almost always gets you perfect lighting.

The new impreza looks pretty cool to me, it's not something I would pick up but it's something I would suggest if someone is looking for reliability or something just good. Looks good!

Just got some 17" drags put on. Wanted to go 18 but I'm on a budget. Think I'll lower it an inch and throw on some mudflats though.

Can't wait to see how 35% looks. Please post the finished job. I know people never get pulled over in the Portland area for their tints, and there's some pretty dark ones (ie. 5% limousine tint on my buddy's Magnum which just looks stupid, if you ask me: the GangBanger Tint I call it). Go reputable on the company you use, rather than trying to save money. If you want darker, the company will install and make you sign a waiver that you have done so at your own risk. I'm interested in what 20% all around with 35% on the windshield looks like on a white interior. I want privacy but I want other drivers to see I'm communicating with them if need be. I'm not worried about getting ticketed at all. Oddbaru, are you going to install clear paint protection, as well? I understand the Subies are chip magnets.)

Hey all... just thought I'd share a pic of my freshly shaved butt. I thought the rear-end would look too bare with everything gone, so I left the "Sport" badge. I was also going to leave the "Symetrical AWD" badge, but I noticed it was already starting to peel off so I shaved it as well. Think I may put my Subaru badge of ownership where the AWD badge was, if I ever get it. It's been over six weeks and haven't seen it yet.

%? And if your interior is white could you show a pic through the tint at the seats? (ie. light interior makes tint look less than it is...)

Hey, it's 35% which is the legal limit in NC. I wanted to do the whole car evenly so they are all like that. Would have preferred a bit darker but I think it still looks good.

Here are some close ups:

Sick car bro! Mine is the econo version of your performance car. Lol. Mud flaps are next for me. Or maybe a roof rack.

It looks darker than I imagined 35%, so I'm guessing others I've been seeing and thinking were the minimum allowable in Oregon (also 35%) are a lot less (50%?). I think your car looks great!

The very first day the car is tinted it always looks darker. After a day or two of drying/curing it will be slightly less dark. First day I had 35% front done & 20% rear & hatch done I was surprised at how dark it was. After a week it lightened up a tad while drying & now it's perfect for me.

Yup, exactly. I wish it would stay that dark, but it won't be too bad.

Hello everyone. I've been following this thread for a few days now, and its really helped me decide to get an Impreza. Question: Does anyone have a flexible strut tower brace installed? Is this one compatible with our model? http://www.ebay.com/itm/SUBARU-2012-...-/130711828684
