There isn't a tinted vinyl wrap or something you could do? If that is, you dont think other cars need to see you.

Perhaps a semi colon instead of a comma would have made you happy. My apologies "sir".

Any color will be illegal I believe in Canada, but a smoked black is nice, and hard to notice when the lights are on.

i did not retrofit any projectors. gonna run the oem fogs and see how they do. this is what the kit consists of.

1x 5202/H16: Morimoto Elite HID System
  • Wire Harness Type: Heavy Duty Relay
  • Wire Harness: 5202/H16
  • Kelvin: 3000K
  • Ballasts: Morimoto 3Five (35w)

it just means i can run the fog lights with out having the headlights on. its done by tapping into the oem fog relay/wiring and converting it to run on its own pretty much.

Has anyone looked into bolting on stock BRZ/FRS exhausts or aftermarket ones for that matter?

Let us know if you have any melting or discoloring of your stock fog lamp housings. I did the same mod with a different set of HIDs in the fog lamps. So far so good, but they get pretty warm...

Well here's the thing, my friend has a stock BRZ exhaust lying around. Should I get it off of him or just go aftermarket? He said there is no sound and is pretty quiet. I guess it'll all depend on the price, if I can get it for under $200. Then it would be okay? What do you think?

I'm not 100% my man I'm probably not the best to talk to about this ay check on 2012 impreza thread page 405 onwards that's where I started reading from or here's the quote . The link is the picture he took of a hatch beside the BRZ stock exhaust. Like I've read the hatch is a bolt on not to sure on the sedan aspect. I'm keen to find out more as it sounds like something I want to do BIG TIME. Or best bet would be see if you can fit it yourself (with friends) if its a direct bolt on tell the WHOLE GODDAMN 2012 GANG especially me so we know about it and if it fits then bam you got a good exhaust he's up $200 and you've officially upgrade to a BRZ x Impreza.

That looks amazing. Would any welding or cutting have to be done for that to be bolted on? By the way, you should do a post cataloging your installation of the SPT exhaust. I'm sure after hearing that a bunch of us are going to want to do the exact same thing.

Thanks man, I'll give it a read through. I'm still unsure if I should save the $200 and spend it now or later on an aftermarket Impreza or BRZ exhaust instead. Since I might end up doing that down the road regardless of if I get the BRZ exhaust now or not. I'm not sure if there will be much change in terms of sound let alone performance but the twin exhausts would look nice.
