Bumpers, taillight, headlights, fender
No frame damage to the chassis, but the front fender/rad support framework will need to be pulled back out, which ive been told isnt that big of a deal

I was coming back from the mall, left hand turn after the light turned green, accelerating up to speed while still turning, back end stepped out on black ice right as I was entering the railroad bridge tunnel, panicked, over corrected right into the wall of the tunnel impacting the front drivers headlight area, bounced off making a complete 180 with the rear end impacting the wall again at the drivers side, came to a stop. Had that same old feeling of "Holy **** that did not just happen"

All the shifting caused 2 of the 3 mounting tabs to snap on the pass. headlight as well

So heres a better pic of the worst spot
You are looking from under the car looking right under the battery tray. You can see the inch to inch and a half of metal that collapsed "like its supposed to >:["

After looking at the picture for a bit I got sort of a brain blast. Im wondering if I can get my small floor jack or even the scissor jack from the trunk in between the two supports pointed out in the below pic if they will be strong enough to push it back out.
Im leaning toward they wont be strong enough, but its worth a try to save some money I think

So I took the front apart to get a better look today
First I measured the fender "rails" and everything is fine there

Then I got a better look at the front. The crash bar took the brunt of the impact but that can be replaced, its just held in by four bolts and four nuts, the smashed side is going to be tricky though ... Im going to have to drill two access holes to get to the top bolt and nut since its now blocked by steel.

Here is the effected beam. Im really hoping this will be no prob for a body shop.

This is how shes sitting right now. I got kinda stressed so I walked away for a bit.

My plan is to put the body pieces back on later and deal with it till spring. Then take any money Ive saved on the side plus a chuck of my tax returns to a body shop and see what magic they can work.
If and when thats worked out then Ill start replacing the body panels

So I came up with a plan of action after thinking about it the past week or so (And before anyone says it, yea I know its not the smartest plan of action but whatever, it is what it is for now)

So ... the bumper doesn't fit right because the crash beam is crushed/bent. I cant replace the crash beam unless I straighten the end of the frame rail.
Sooooo ... Im just gonna remove the crash beam
Yes, yes I know, the crash beam serves a purpose and if I take it off and get hit in the front its bye bye radiator, and if its a bad accident its bad news for me, Ive thought that over, and I know.

So plan is: 1.) Remove crash beam
2.) Buy new headlights
3.) Buy new Tailight
4.) Buy STI replica front bumper
5.) Buy new splash guards
6.) Buy new Grille
7.) Buy new rear bumper (Maybe)
8.) Buy Coilovers
9.) Replace timing belt and extras

10.) Then if shes still running strong and I see a bright future with her, Ill have the frame rail fixed and a new crash beam put in

Somewhere in there also is get a winter tire setup for next winter which probably would have avoided this whole nonsense in the first place.

Good and bad today
Lifted her up to rotate the tires
Then got to work on that crash beam, opened up two holes and got to the covered bolt and nut out of the crash beam. Thats the good.
Then the bad, the last nut rounded out >:0
Kinda my fault I knew a box wrench was a bad idea but theres only about 3/4 to an inch of room between it and the back of the crash beam. I couldnt use a socket.
With only one nut holding the beam on I pulled it off the pas side studs and pulled it out, up, and down with all my rage hoping that "when in doubt, beat the **** out of it" might work ... but no.
So I put everything back together and Im going to sleep on it to try to figure out how to get that last nut off
Disappointing to get it that far and have to give up ... I was so optimistic I even ordered new headlights this morning

Pics to follow, just dont feel like uploading and whatnot right now.
