Default AP Stage 1 Issue

Wondering if someone might be able to help me out with this issue. Just picked up my AP and flashed it with the Stage 1 93 oct. Im seeing 2 files. One is v300 and i downloaded and flashed the car with v301 from Cobb site. After flashing I took the car for a drive and the throttle response is a lot worse then before and the car feels sluggish. I did a data log and as I am new to this I think it logged about a 5 min drive home lol. If someone might be able to take a look at it I would appreciate it!!

it is typical for the car to feel boggy & not smooth right after loading a new map. it takes a bit for the ecu to learn the new fuel mappings. as for the datalog, you'll need someone else more experienced to chime in. from what i see you're getting some knock under load, you may want to give the 91 octane map a try. good luck.

Thank You

I watched a data log video from Cobb and it seems that its ok for me to be -1.4 in knock learning. I'm gonna run 94 oct from shell on my next fill up and see how that runs on the 93 oct map. Glad I'm not getting boost spike. Cant wait till we get E85 here in CT and put my parts on get a ProTune from my local shop!

You do have some sporadic knock during your WOT "pulls", but some of it may just be from mashing the throttle (which can be normal). I would try to get a 3rd gear run from about 2000 RPM on up (if you can do so safely).

Hey Bill,

This is my latest log. Everything seems to look pretty good. Been doing a lot of research and getting better at understanding what everything is. If you have any other pointers it would be greatly appreciated.

Log looks good. You have a slight boost spike, but not too bad. I would just make sure it isn't much worse in higher gears when you go WOT.

I will log a 2nd gear pull and run till top of 4th and see if i get the boost spike again. If so then I will run the LWG map. Cobb intake is going in on Friday so I might wait till after and then see what i get with the Stage 1 + SF...Thanks Bill

Really, you just want to recreate your normal driving in higher gears. If you regularly to go WOT in 5th or 6th to pass, for example, then get a log of that and see what it looks like.
