What is that gauge on the left that is digital display?

Congrats on the system. I did mine last year and it was a 5 week ordeal. But, I am the most anal person ever born, so....

That's an ultra gauge (I think it's www.ultra-gauge.com) it's an OBD2 plug in that reads a bunch of things.

The only problem I have with mine is it doesn't refresh very quickly, maybe twice a second. That's fine for stuff like temps, mpg, fuel level and whatnot but for boost, I'll take a mechanical gauge 100% of the time (and I have one of those too)

They're pretty cheap too, I think I got one for like $50 2 years ago.

thanks for that post! I pm'd you about the refresh rate, that answers my questions right there... I was looking to use this as a temporary gauge for boost and afr (narrow band obviously for now) just to monitor those and a few other things, but I had a hard time believing that it could refresh fast enough to be useful boost gauge...

thanks! and nice interior! and yes, where are your pedals again? lol

How were you able to mount the Ultra gauge into the SMY pod?

Yes its a Ultra Gauge = http://www.ultra-gauge.com

The refresh rate is about 2 times per second, so not good for boost and or RPM. But it works perfect for temp and even other readings.

Here is what I have setup (6 gauges, 2 rows of 3):

intake temp, Coolant temp
engine load, Advance timing
Mass air, lean rich (numerical)

** I am running a mechanical boost gauge on the right side.

I actually took the pedals off as I converted them to buttons on the wheel, just got to used to it from playing GT5 on the PS3 and had a hard time converting back

Took the arm off and double sided tape to the blank pod spot on the left side.

What did you use to mount the ultra gauge? Just double sided tape? Do you still like it?

Looks awesome. Not sure if you care, but if you take some red vinyl tint (Like the ones we have on our taillights) and apply that to the screen of the Ultra Gauge, the color will match pretty closely to your stock red/amber.

Using the OEM O2 sensor in the exhaust (remember its only readying thought the ODB2 port) about 2 readings per second.

The setup was about $1600 including head unit, without HU it would have been about $700, labor I did myself.
