Getting sued and need help - Page 3

My understanding is that you can be disbarred for DUI. I don't think he is at this time. If he is charged with a second DUI then he will be disbarred, he can still try to sue me. I don't think he will represent himself if he is disbarred, most likely he will drop the case if he is disbarred. I don't see him hiring someone to represent him. I'm still perusing a counter sue for my troubles.

So, I had my day in court on the 22nd. This guy brought in his friend who wasn't even there at the time to provide a false witness statement and his skis that had tire marks on them (not possible with this accident). I had my friend who was in the car with me.
He was suing me for medical reimbursement for all the visits to the hospital and chiropractor claiming he now has chronic back pain and to replace his skis, totaling to $40,000.

Fortunately the assigned judge was unable to see our case so a new judge was assigned. The new judge had seen this dirt bag before and apparently knows of his history. The judge listened to both sides and made a decision that his claims and evidence do not add up and he was in the wrong, stating "who skis in the parking lot". I won the case and also won my counter sue to cover my expenses $3600. I ended up pocketing $1200.

As far as I know this dirt bags drivers licence has been suspended and he has been disbarred.

His name is Jonathan Orsini!
Keep your eyes peeled for this douche.

Thank you for all your thoughts! The last thing I needed right now is to loose 40k to some litigious douche for no reason. At least I won and he lost his career.

His name is Jonathan H. Orsini

He goes by Jonah.

I couldn't find him on facebook.

I learned from my PI he changed his name about 20 years ago from Walter A. Wood to Jonathan H. Orsini. He is 43 years old.

I think everything about him is a lie.
