Default Seattle-Olympia area auto glass techs

I'm looking for an auto glass tech who's looking to make some cash on the side.

I need to have the rear hatch glass, c pillar glass and windshield removed from my 04 WRX wagon. The car is located in my garage in Olympia, and is not mobile, so the work needs to happen there.

I'm more than willing to help, provide beer/lunch and cash, or some combination of the three.

If anyone is interested in helping me out, I'm best reached via PM here.

Nobody? I'd really prefer not to spend over $500 to get this done if at all possible.

Removing glass is not all that tricky as long as you have the tool. I've used this with success:

http://www.harborfreight.com/windshi...ool-99892.html

All that glass sits in a thick bed of sealant and this tool will cut through that like butter. You just have to take your time and be real careful not to catch the edge of your glass. Keep in mind, most times this tool is used, the glass being removed is already garbage so chipping the edge is no big deal. You just need to go slow and you could pull this off.

Now if reinstalling is part of your immediate plan, that is where some experience would help. I did one or two in my day successfully but there are some tricks.

Thanks for the insight. I'll look into that option.

No plans to reinstall within the immediate future, but I'd like to reuse the glass if at all possible.

New glass + tint could add up to be quite the bill, which is why I'm nervous to take on the job myself.
