So far so good with the kinugawa chra, for $400 shipped new, its hard to beat and the car runs great. I've had good luck with the kinugawa/kamak stuff, my brother-in-law is at 30k miles on his 20g in a legacy gt. I'm going to run a 60-1/td06sl2 built from kinugawa parts this spring.
Hopefully the OP will have the same durability with his turbo.

2.5" catback could be holding you back a bit.

Although i do agree with this, I do not think that think this is the reason he is only making 301. But OP, you should consider getting a 3 inch CBE, you have a 3 inch downpipe going to a 2.5 inch cbe? does not make much sense. it is def restricting the exhaust flow. Getting a 3 inch cbe may free up a few hp.

But i think there may be a different reason you are making that low of numbers. Correct me if im wrong but other people with the same or similar setup are making around 330-350 at the wheels.

OP, your tune is on 91 pump gas, right? You forgot to mention this....

On 91, with a TD06 and on a Mustang dyno, your results are normal, I think.

This^^^. I bet you make closer to 330 on 93 and some tuning adjustments.

Its not the exhaust. I have COBB 3" downpipe going to 2.5" SPT CBE. I made 343whp/362WTQ on Blouch TD 06 20g turbo. Stock STI on this dyno is at around 225-230whp.

dyno hp is not comparable. This is one of the lower reading mustangs vs a dynojet. though you do hit full boost about 500 rpm sooner or more if OP is correct about full boost.

Not to mention the Perrin CAI is probably maxed out... Need to go larger to say a KS Tech.

OP did you ever figure out if anything was wrong with the car? What did Mike say about it? You could have also had a preturbo exhaust leak which would cause the late spool.

the tdo6-20g spool is slower than tdo5-20g.
plus your 2.5" exhaust.

but numbers are about what you see for 91 oct
for your set up.
