Default 2011 stage 1 93 oct map data log

I took a data log yesterday, can someone review this and let me know if anything is a concern? Thanks

Just looking at the data myself I see the dynamic adv and feedback knock producing values not equal to 0 is this normal? It doesn't happen all the time, what could be a solution?

I believe what ever is seen in feedback is taken off of dynamic advance.

What about the feedback knock readings I'm getting?

A log of general driving doesn't tell you a whole lot. You will always have the occasional low load feedback knock or fine knock learning with every car and with any tune. At low load, the dynamic advance is zero and since the dynamic advance monitor also consists of feedback/fine knock, it will show the same value as feedback+fine correction when dynamic advance is zero (this is normal and doesn't mean anything is wrong).

Where knock becomes a problem is when you see consistent events at high load (that are not due to mashing the throttle, shifting, or abruptly lifting off the throttle). What you want to do is to get a wide open throttle log. Check out our data logging video for details:

Thanks bill this is all good information, I appreciate you taking time to look at this log.

So what would you say is the best parameter to pull live data as I'm driving if I'm concerned with monitoring knock?

Best thing to do is to take a data log, but if you have the AccessPORT mounted somewhere with good visibility, then I would look at feedback knock correction, with the understanding that you will see some corrections during normal driving. You just don't want to see multiple counts (-2.8, -4.2) with moderate/high load and you don't want to see consistent corrections (even single counts) at wide open throttle except at or shortly after mashing the throttle/shifting (which can be normal).
