Me? Know something about CTS-V's?! You mean the ultimate daddy build that can realistically handle a lot of power? Why would I ever want to pick up one of those...

The LSA is a great motor other than the fact it comes with cast pistons. That said, you can still make it a daily driver with 620whp on the stock block and stock transmission (both of them). I have zero interest in the new CTS-V they are going to release...that new CTS is HUGE. It seems like cars just keep getting bigger and bigger. While the Boxer rumble is a pretty awesome sound...the sound of a cam'ed, upgraded blower and long tube header CTS-V is absolutely insane.

Keeping on topic. My car at the top of my new driveway that should be poured this weekend.

New CTS is actually lighter than the old CTS...as per Motor Trend.

Edit: I do not have numbers to back this up...flame on!!

Wait, so in addition to ring lands, spun bearings, failing TOB's, and cracking firewalls, we now have to worry about head lift?

God, time to sell the GR

You could just get in the car and drive it everyday and not worry so much. We're at a similar power level and it's a great daily driver car that can get past a majority of the cars that you pass on the road on the way to work everyday.

It's a Subaru and does well for what we all paid for ours. I like mine just the way it is and for what it is

Happy Friday! (or Halloween hangover day)

Let's not forget the 5 speed tranny. Mine went at 51k with little abuse, no launching.

Every subaru gen has had this problem. Its usually with tracked cars.

Don't be so dramatic; every car built usually had a few quirks, and any car that happens to be modded and raced adds additional stress. If the car has an enthusiast type following (the guy driving his wrx probably cares more about his car than the guy driving a Tercel), and you'll see more threads about the issue.

How many of those are boosted and built up to 100% increase in power levels?
