You have to be extremely careful with composition. Always center the car in the frame when you take the picture then crop it later into one of the thirds. It is a fisheye lens so you have to really control that distortion during the staging process in composition.

Yup Yup! I have to keep the ball rolling with the mods.. Its become a competition here.

We have at the dealership (All purchased and plated employee cars) and all with different mods:

Sales
05 wrx 5door RED
11 sti sedan SWP
11 sti 5door DGM (top dawg, 298 WHP)
11 wrx 5door SWP

Hi guys,
Been lurking around here for a while and now finally have a reason to post. The guy who originally ordered the car backed out of the deal so I was at the dealership signing papers before the car even made it out on the front lot.

cheers

^^ it's probably not necessary to quote all the photos, especially if you're making a generic comment that doesn't have to do with the pics. just sayin.

Quick question guys.. I'm a 2.5i owner looking to upgrade, doing a lot o research, not sure what to get. WRX sedan or STI sedan? Is the STI worth the extra $10.000? The only thing I don't like about the STI is the hideous giant wing, and the only thing I don't like about the WRX is the lack of 6 speed.. Any input will be much appreciated .. Thanx

You can get rid of the wing a whole lot cheaper than getting a 6spd. I can completely justify every penny extra I spent on the base STi over a premium WRX.

if you think the 6-speed is made for highway cruising then get it out of your head. the STi and WRX cruise at the same rpm's on the highway, wrx might even be at lower rpms.

what are the reasons for you to get an sti? do you NEED brembo's, the diffs, higher insurance, etc etc.

the wrx is a great car, and is no slouch. if you don't plan to track it, or do any of such things, a wrx will be plenty. however there is far more than just a 6-speed and wing that make the difference in price between a base wrx and a base STi.

also, the 5-speed is much nicer for city driving. the WRX is so much softer than the STi. even when my car was bone stock, it rode nothing like the wrx. so if you're buying a car to leave alone, and daily. get a wrx. if you're planning to mod, and go for power and track, get an STi.

just my $.02

Thanx guys. I would not go crazy on mods I would also not track the car. Mods I see in the future would be rims, exhaust maybe a drop. And some cosmetic changes nothing much.. So from what u said I guess it's better to save money and get a base wrx instead of a base sti!

i agree with jive. Your best bet would be a wrx! You wont make a mistake with it. Ul love the car.
