Anyway, here's a picture. (Crap, it's blurry.) Playing in the rain on some twisty roads on Vancouver Island last spring with my buddy in his 2013 Genesis 2.0T.

You in particular are an instigator, as long as it takes some hating away from you it's all good. And it's "nosey" not nosy?? Just trying to get a feel for the offset of wheels I want. Spacers are only temporary, don't think my wheels are falling off... Anyways I haven't started drilling holes or modifying my stock suspension with a saw? SCARY!!!

Autoblog just posted a big pile of photos of the 2015 WRX as displayed at the LA Auto Show. Looks better than the promotional shots, but it still feels a bit like a "cheap car" to me. Something about the general shape of the car, not any one specific element.

The interior looks like a really big step up from the old model though. Flat-bottom steering wheel stock! Fancy audio system!

Sharp looking seats!

its still based on a car with a $17895 price tag

I mean it's supposed to be affordable performance

if they actually built that concept it would have been like 40k base lol

what they should really do is team up with toyota again, make a new coupe platform, toyota can call it the celica all-trac and it can be an STI coupe or make it a 5 door and it can be a matrix XRS lol

I love the interior
Neutral with the exterior....silver looks good but the car goes flat after the front fenders which aren't all that great to begin with
No "wrx" red stitching in the seat - hate
No side mirror LED blinkers - pisses me off
Chrome side emblems - Ehh
LED Tails - Like
Rear diffuser - Like
Shark fine antenna - Like
Dislike the fact that once again LED/HID headlights don't come AT LEAST on the premium
New motor and tranny - Can't say yet but most likely love (6 speed)
Overall there are a lot of small things I wish the car had standard but it is what it is....only time and a test drive will convince me to like it or hate it

I think this is due to the new pedestrian collision regulations. The new Mini, the new BMWs, the new Volvos, etc all have this weird snub nose appearance.

Even the base model STi doesn't get LED mirror blinkers or HID in Canada, to heck with the WRX. Stupid, yes, but I guess they are trying to differentiate between models more clearly. It DOES make them seem kinda behind the times. I mean, hell, the new Toyota Corolla has LED low-beams.

I hope someone figures out how to back-port the keyless access system to the GR car, that's the one feature I'd really like to have. Not having to dig keys out of my pockets in the cold would be great. I've been eyeing the aftermarket system with the replacement door handle for the GR, but it seems to defeat a little too much of the built-in security system for my tastes. Factory systems (assuming there is ANYTHING in common between this new WRX and the GR) would be very nice.

The idea is that 45:55 torque split is better for driving enthusiasts (more like RWD) and therefore why the heck can't the driving enthusiast transmission (manual) have that too.

Unfortunately it's because the center diff is totally different between the automatic and manual, IIRC.
