Aaron is that the lamnix yellow headlight overlays by chance? My son has a set for his 13 Legacy just curious how hard they were to install.

It is LaminX. I had them installed by a professional tint shop, so they didn't crease or wrinkle.

^ I think they look great, and personally I would leave them unpainted.

Did you trim your front license plate?

Been thinking of doing that to mine.

Personally.. To me I only like it on some cars if their theme goes with it. Oaf your car looks great. My car wouldn't make sense with it but to me darker cars with a dark mean theme works with flairs

I found an iPhone app. It's no photoshop. But it'll give you a rough idea ( I'm horrible at this stuff ).... I cut the bumper off a bit.... This isn't my car by the way. Tuesday I'll have real pictures though.

I've also decided to switch from the WRX/STI factory hatchback spoiler to the base Impreza hatchback spoiler. I feel it will be a better aesthetic and aerodynamic combination.

^ i like the aluminum machine work and effort on this but 3 things come to mind:

1. How will you open the rear hatch now?
2. The WRC wing already does what you're looking to do and has been proven to work
3. How will you do testing to show that this works better than the WRC wing?

The hatch can still be opened. That was my primary concern as I worked with the engineering company that has a done an incredible job undertaking this task for me. Not that I should have doubted them; especially considering their long history in the upper echelon of American motor sports and beyond. I'll take pictures of this and possibly video on Tuesday. In regards to the WRC wing I'm not a big fan of its outward appearance and it covers a large portion of the rear windshield obstructing visibility. And finally in regards to testing; I think the viability of the wing location has been proven by vehicles such as the Mugen Honda CRZ GT300 car, the RCM Gobstopper II and the hatchback Snail Performance time attack car (although their wing was physically affixed to the roof of the car). The pylons position the wing just above the roof where it has access to clean air and performance will also depend upon the wing used, length, angle of attack and so on. The wheel isn't being reinvented here per se, I'm giving myself and potentially other hatchback owners (if I decide to go to market with it) access to wings capable of generating more downforce than the WRC unit.

Lol I really do. First time I've made an evo comment about the 15 sti on here that I can think of. I say it out loud a lot though.

I like the evo so it's not a bad thing.
