It was right after i got an alignment. The tech parked like that because i was just gonna get my keys and leave . Def would not part like that normally. I usally try to find a corner spot and move as far back and to the side as possible.

This looks great! I also ditched the front badge and love it. SWP looks great, but I'm bias

Car looks sick man. I love the black accents you've added. And the white mustache.

May I suggest some weed killer?

All I'm gonna say is after a week of having my '12 OBP STi, I really really REALLY have grown to like the chrome headlights. Even sorta the taillights too. The silver in the headlights looks a TON better than in pictures. They're always over exposed and look white in pics, but it's a whole different look in person.

I agree about the tails and headlights. I was going to order overlays until i saw my car in person. A lot of depth is lost in the pictures...

HELLO! I thought I would introduce myself! As of yesterday I am the proud owner of my first wrx! I am no stranger to the subaru community as I just traded in my 08' impreza 2.5i (dgm sedan on the left) and constantly find myself posting in the 08 2.5i thread and regular 2.5i thread. I see alot of you guys are doing crazy stuff and cant wait to start modding as well!!

-My 2012 silver WRX hatch. bought her with 24 miles brand new.
She came with an SPT catback/STI short shifter from factory.

I managed to salvage these parts from my 2.5i and are now on the wrx,
-Perrin short antenna/radiator shroud
-Hks oil cap
-Spt battery tie down

Guys like Garrett and Scott (Teflon Jones) have been around the Subaru scene for longer than most of us have had our licenses. He never once 'bashed on his car', he offered legitimate advice and I agree with everything he said. Only reason anyone would be offended by the things he said would be that they know he's right and they hate to admit it.

To Supa, seriously bro, why go through putting massive 265 tires on 9.5" wheels when, like you said, DD your car? I mean, that kind of meat on the wheels just isn't necessary on anything with less than 500whp. Yeah they look great an all, but I would just find it hard to justify.

Also, like he said, coilovers for $1000 aren't worth the weight in metal they're made of. Have you seen the GTWorx + RCE shock and spring kit? Much better choice for your car that would actually increase performance.

End of the day, it's your car so do what you want. I just find a hard time understanding, as I'm sure Scott and Garrett feel the same, as to why you would buy, like they said, a pure performance car and then bother with exterior mods that would only hurt performance. Why wouldn't you just get a base WRX if you wanted a car that looks the same and you aren't interested in its performance or in tracking it? I'm also, by no means, bashing your car at all, just asking some simple questions and offering advice..

I think everyone gets to do whatever they want to their own cars. End of story. If you dont want to put X on your car, then don't.
