Had my car broken into last night. Time to get an aftermarket alarm system.

I didn't have much in the car. I think they only got my backpack that was full of text books and my iPod that was in my glovebox.

Home owners insurance should cover right? If you weren't in San Fran I'd suggest more direct route to deter people from breaking into your car. Also an outdoor camera system isn't a bad idea but I don't know how California law is.

Did they smash a window or how did they get in? This worries me because i always keep a gun or two in my car

Yeah, my OCD is pretty bad too when it comes to symmetry

These kinds of posts infuriate me! I hate thieves. I've had my house broken into before and the helpless feeling and depression suck!

Nope I'm pretty much left on my own. My car insurance deductible is $1000 and my home insurance is $2500. I'm definitely considering getting an outdoor camera just because we've had a string of break in's in my neighborhood over the past few months. An aftermarket alarm will be the first thing I get though. Time to drop some $$$ on a new alarm.

You need to paint these mesh grilles in the hood black.

Damn.
Are the batteries for your sound system?
It looks a little funny how far forward the scoop is.
Edit: oh I see, is it just an insert someone sells?

Not an insert, the company i ordered from actually sent the wrong hood but once i saw it it grew on me so i will roll with it for awhile. Stock sound system, batteries relocated to make more room.

It would be great to take pics by the boat launch area in the big lot before you start hearing more towards the bars in Alki
