I'm not doubting you. If he DID have air ride, surely he would have raised the car a lot more.

Pretty much why I bought the WRX. I'm most into cosmetic mods and the WRX looks similar enough already. I never used my 05 STI properly, so why spend more money to not use it properly again?

If the STI isn't being tracked then it's a status symbol that's gradually losing it's luster from incidents like these where they're getting slammed and can't even make it down DIRT roads.

This video sums it up nicely.

Threw some red mudflaps on my WRB hatch:

I know people are a bit sick of mudflap pictures, but before I bought these I wasn't able to find any red-on-blue 08+ hatchbacks, so there we go.

Car's getting 3M and 5-window tint today too.

I HATE red flaps on blue cars. I hate red flaps on almost anything, actually. But as long as you like it, nice job.

The scene today is all about ****ing slammed cars that aren't even driven. Almost all the nice cars at fresh meet were trailer queens.

Then when you ask the owners about the cars they don't know **** besides what was written online in the part description. Sad and pathetic. It's always nice to see people genuinely buy these cars to drive them. Not to sit pretty like a bro.

Still very high reading, I'd like to see what you put down on a mustang dyno. Respectable numbers not knocking u just saying it's pretty high. Look at most STi's with similar mods on iwsti that get dynoed on a Mustang. I'm sure the car is fast.

i know, i dont like the shops dyno. Mikey wants me to go up to some mustang dyno near him. he thinks i can break the record for stage 2 cars on that dyno lolol

the car went 12.4 @ 108 with a 1.8 60ft before i added the new parts. with some better driving on this new setup we are shooting for 12 flat on pump

if its trapping 108 I don't think those numbers are too high at all, sounds about right. Although a baseline would make the numbers more meaningful

that slammed white STI seems like its owned by quite the tool..lol

since this is the pic thread

It all depends on the dyno i guess. For reference my local tuners mustang dyno.
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2383145

This dyno reads low and should be compared to the lower reading mustang dynos. Here are some proven numbers and trap speeds for reference:

Stock 02-05 WRX - 155-165whp
Stock 04-07 STI - 215-220whp
Stock 08-11 STI - 190-200whp

265-275whp - 107-108mph traps
300-310whp - 112-113mph traps
325-335whp - 115-116mph traps
350-360whp - 118-120mph traps

yeah that's my friend's BRZ

the nav seemed to work quite well for navigation and music. Pretty much everything inside that car is better than our cars sadly..lol. If the new WRX is based on the BRZ I will probably just trade mine in..lol

cobb's mustang dyno doesn't read nearly that low..all these things vary a lot depending on a ton of different factors

people generally talk about dynojet numbers on 2wd car forums so I'm most familiar with those

toyota really shot themselves in the foot with the FR-S, the feature content is sooo much worse for almost the same price, granted that was a BRZ limited but most of the good stuff is standard on the premium

Are there 1/4 mile slips to back this up? I haven't seen any. The dyno results they post never really seem that low. Maybe I just haven't been around long enough.
