Side mirror turn signals add some class, too.

But, yes, less wheel gap goes a long way towards improving the looks.

Meh. The 2010 STi special edition didn't have those but they do add a little more pop I suppose.

Yeah, therefore the S.E. was less classy, which is kinda cool for a car like that.

I honestly think the base STI shouldn't get them, that and a few other things, if it helps keep the price low. It would justify the Limited a bit more.

I know, I'm just saying in general. I was looking at one the other day and the brakes are really noticeable when you are standing next to it

It would be nice if you could get a more stripped down STI, the price has gotten out of hand, although I'm not sure exactly what I would want to remove..lol. Maybe a version with 17s, no hids, no wing, and cheaper seats? then again who doesn't like HIDs?

honestly the sti has ALWAYS been starting at low 30k. it hasn't really gone out of hand. the 07' hawk eye limited wasn't cheap either. i think subaru has done well with keeping it priced along the same area all this time. where as look at m3's and skylines since they came out and how much the price has jumped in the US alone.

one thing that really bothers me about subaru's is how expensive breaks are. all my vw/audi friends can get porsche 6-pots cheaper than ****ign STI 4-pot brembo's.

but celery, do the front and call it a day. the rear doesn't add much more than your wrx brakes unless you do 4-pot rears too...and since you don't heavily track it it will be more than plenty IMO.

If you don't track your car you don't need Brembo's.

I'm just talking about that wilwood 4 pot kit. With the group buy pricing at 3gwrx I bet they don't amount to a whole lot more than just paying the dealer for a brake job. The oem brakes don't feel that great anyway. The looks don't hurt either lol

don't know the actual price even if they cancelled it the price on fastbrakes.com isn't bad, people sometimes sell just STI calipers for that much money

Same. I have ss rear lines and upgraded pads and fluid of course so it helps.. New rear rotors would help too as my stock rear rotors got pretty worn after one day while the front dba rotors held up amazing. I need better pads though, hp+ did have a bit of fade.

When I was researching brakes I came across this http://www.tceperformanceproducts.com/wrx/kits-12/
The bsl6n are 6 piston fronts. TCE offers the complete front kit for under $1400.

Yep. Just watched the used market here and IWSTI.com. Every now and then...you run across a great deal.
