to be 100% honest I've been wanting shoes that were better for driving for a while. I ended up tagging along on a spur of the moment trip to boston and in my haste to pack fast I forgot to bring sneakers(only had flip flops) so I saw these in finish line...

Also I was thinking about getting an S2k and since I barely fit because my legs are too long I figured thinner soled shoes would make it slightly easier to drive.

I recently picked up these in all black for $26 when Puma.com had them listed for that price (I think it was a typo).

http://www.shop.puma.com/Ferrari-Dri...0%26color%3D04

Prior to those I had a pair like this (but they were also all black):

http://www.shop.puma.com/Racer-Carbo...4%26color%3D02

Mine get worn pretty much any time I'm not at work. Weekday evenings and all day on weekends. I wore them for my entire trip to Europe, in which we had no car, so it was basically 2 weeks straight of walking (plus bus/train/plane). Many days were 8-10 hours of walking around.

They are really flat/thin, so not the best for comfort, but really not bad. Plus they're great for driving. Once you wear some nice thin shoes you'll never want to go back to regular tennis shoes (or especially dress shoes) for any type of serious driving.

That's a wide lens. Pushing the limits a little there, but very cool lighting and processing. Was this just one off camera light?

where did you see a "racing shoe"? they are driving/motorsport shoes. no fire or safety ratings. if you have three pedals and never invested in a proper driving shoe, I suggest you give it a try. Your first heel toe down shift will have payed for itself.

i have a pair of pumas that are decent driving shoes as well, love the puma motorsport shoes but 90% of them have ferrari logos or bmw logos. not my style. that and my adi's are still going strong since 2006

Photoshop? Just add Google. It will take 5 seconds to learn. You can clean up your shots very easily using it.

DGM was what I was going to get originally but decided I needed a slightly bigger shift from what I drove before, which was an OBP Legacy from 09. I'd say that DGM would be just as hard to keep clean as OBP or SWP.

Plasma blue is a mysterious color to me and is one of the rarest I've seen. When it's dark, it looks almost black but in other light, it looks dark blue to purple. Out of all the WRX/STi I've seen in my travels all over the country (and even went to the New England Forest Rally, which was practically a gathering a of Subarus), I have seen two PBPs in person, just to give you an idea of how rare they actually are.

Yeah, nit picking I guess. The exposure and processing of all the shots looks good, but some of the locations have distracting foreground/background elements.

I ended up getting a 2011 STi in PBP without ever seeing the color in person. It's fantastic. A lot of people say they like the color (even non-Subaru people).

I see PBP as much as any of the other colors. There are 3 in my local area. 2 sedans and a hatch. Gorgeous color
