I'd be down to buy some aftermarket tails to get the red out look. I'm not a big fan of vinyl nor do I like the idea of painting tail lights.

But I have no idea who would make something like that for our cars

I'm not sure how many people would really value a full replacement over just getting overlays. The painting option is fine until you decide to keep your car longer than 6 months

It's just odd that after all these years and aftermarket parts available that not a single company has desired to modify the tail lights. -1 for the hatch.

Let's just start a thread petitioning a company to produce them. Any company. If it gets enough support, they'll have something to run the numbers on.

I think the issue is that they are expensive LED lights, most people would just opt for overlays or paint because the lights are going to be pricey. I almost feel like they would need to look a bit different just to sell because for all 4 lights I'm thinking at least $200-$300 unless its a really ghetto company making them

if depo tails are the same quality as the ones for my BMWs back in the day, i'd rather keep my OEM LED tails.

I would buy some if they were OEM quality, but red. I'm guessing they wouldn't do a run of them unless you wanted 1000pcs or something.

They would work with 6 model years, so that might be doable. Wonder of there's a way to find out who the manufacturer is for the oem lights.

getting oem quality will be the real trick I guess

the price could be offset by selling you stock lights or the fact that you could sell the aftermarket lights when you get rid of your car

Nothing fancy, just the front end after wiping down with quik detail today. Never had a white car before, so I'm finding it a little harder to keep clean compared to my previous silver cars haha



And I finally got the key cut and finished the legacy flip key mod (thanks xluben!) imo it turned out great and it's honestly one of my favorite mods because my key no longer stabs me in my thigh

ROFL. that's sooo true. although i don't want to ditch mine or buy red overlays. i'm fine with the way they look.

but i was thinking about the same thing earlier. we get a car with red tail lights, we want clear corners and vice versa.


i personally think the tail lights on the sedan are fine "as is" - but hey, to each his / her own.
