Okay that's pretty badass looking. You should post it in the "show your unique car stickers" thread. I'd post a link, but I'm on my iPhone and don't know how to do it from the app.

So, o/t...what do you guys think of the latest gen legacy GTs? I have been wanting to get something less conspicuous, and the LGT seems to be a solid performer. Not as fast or sharp feeling as my car, but that might have just been because it was a test drive.

I have been wondering about one of those myself. The exterior is pretty hideous but w/e. All the reviewers say the feel of the shifter is horrible even with the oem short throw kit. Love the interior for a subaru anyway..lol. It won't be as fast as a WRX because its heavier. I would probably consider trading my car in for one if I found the right deal, but in this area they don't pop up too often.

Outback and baja XT's are neat too.

go drive on that is stage 2 pro tuned and has sway bars. you'll quickly forget why you wanted a wrx. one of those left me for dead from a 20 roll. they have EL from factory so the TQ they put up is amazing. and that interior is awesome. honestly, i dont know why you wouldn't want one.

baja XTs are hard to find under 100k miles, no thanks.

The horrid accord/camry/maxima look of the legacy is kind of what attracts me to it. I don't like being noticed, especially by punk kids who think these cars are something more than $25k sport-like cars. Its kind of a fat bitch though, so I wanted to see what people though who had more than 2 minutes of experience.

I see. Very well then.

If I do it right, Ill lessen my loan money on the wrx and still have a low miles car. Still want a spec b, but those are so hard to get.

LGT was my 3rd choice behind the STI and WRX. I was planning on JDM-swapping the front and headlights. Now with 2013 Legacy going with more aggressive front and black headlights, you're good!

I didn't go for it because I wanted a more sporty feel and lighter weight. I think it's a unique enough vehicle to outweigh it's on-the-fence looks. If there's aftermarket suspension available then I'd give it a shot if I were you.

yeah a spec b would be nice, so hard to find though. I just want something with less road and wind noise. The new LGT's don't have that stupid push button parking brake like the peon model legacy's come with do they?

On the other hand last time I went from an attention grabbing car(orange RSX) to something more grown up but still sporty (g35 sedan 6mt) I regretted it. Although I think a lot of that was because the G was such a chore to drive and it didn't seem luxurious at on this highway. I think I should have just found a LGT to start with after the RSX.

because there is no up-pipe. the turbo is in the front under the engine, not up by us. its a different design which is more efficient, and spools earlier...this is apparently the motor that they MIGHT put in the brz turbo according to some of my sources.

No GT for 2013 Plus I want to get one with a few thousand miles on it.

Yes, unfortunately. That was a complaint I read about...that a "rally car" comes without a proper handle ebrake. I can look past it.

This:

(Not my pics)

And that dyno sheet...hmm. I think this may be the answer.
I think I like the blandness.

car has a lot of potential. needs meaty tires, aggressive wheels and a drop and itll look good. but those dyno sheets speak for themselves and you call it bland, but when you spank people with it they will call it a sleeper.

defiantly don't like it in white

i think silver complements the lines better

maybe with some darker wheels, blacked out grill and headlight housings it wouldn't be so bad

or not...lol

Defiantly, eh?

I like silver more as well, but theres a white by me and I like it. Theres also a dgm, but my buddy has a dgm 2.5i in the same year and i dont really need some kind of "hey you copying me brah?" conversation.

I knew there wasn't a 2013 LGT. I was sad when it was announced months ago. I was just saying that originally I had planned on getting JDM front bumper and headlights because they're more aggressive, but now the USDM 2013 Legacy has black headlights and a front bumper that more resembles the current WRX, so I would just order those instead of the JDM-spec.

I have no clue if the LGT or 3.6R headlights are adjustable, though, or even if JDM LGT/tS have adjustable HIDs. I might research that.

I agree that silver LGT is better than white. 2012 LGT would be preferred because interior is carbon fiber-look and side mirrors fold, I believe, compared to 2010 or even 2011 models.

Cel, how did that guy find a big enough oven to bake his 2010+ Legacy headlights?

Sitting in the passenger seat always makes things feel so much faster! I just hate letting people drive my car, though. It happens very rarely.

Love those wheels. I wanted those so bad last summer. They look great. I just wish they were a bit lighter...

KillerB is coming out with a low/front mount turbo kit. It will cost a pretty penny I'm sure. There are a few local guys that run front/low mounted turbos in the fog light area. A local guy named Fobia does them and they look great. They're much faster cars though. Like 600+ WHP.

Debating getting the flat black plastic areas highlighted color matched to OBP but I've heard getting OBP to match is a difficult process. Can anyone comment on that? I am also planning on picking up either a Bayson R CS Lip or V-Limited Replica Lip and having it matched as well but I would hate to pay $200 for paint work on the highlighted areas to get it back and find out that it doesn't match well.
