well then it makes sense. i thought all that happened from just strut bars bracing does more than people think, throw in some poly bushings and sway bars and it'll be on rails like you said.

and i didn't get it yet, but was offered a trade. people all talk about how slow hte brz is...the road isn't a race track this brz will out handle my sti 100%. took it on mountain roads and where my sti just understeers like a pig this thing flys with the rear kicking out ever so slightly, dont believe all the hype and negativity, this car is awsome.

anyway, anyoen going to the OCC(orange county choppers) meet sunday sept 29th? it'll be the last time i take the sti out before i part it for sure.

a buddy of mine picked up the brz a week ago after having a built 05 sti and he caid the same, just that it handles so much better than sti and is a blast to ddrive with the power it has.

Got my car back yesterday from getting repairs after a collision, and put it straight into the garage. Finally had a chance to really look at it tonight without being rushed.

I'm not too happy, and I'll be bringing it back. The fitment is terrible between the bumper, fenders, grill, and hood. There is also a very poor paint job on the lower bumper.

I agree the brz is a joy to drive. Anyone who says otherwise is just mag racing. I've never driven a car that felt that perfect. The power on the other hand is meh, but i feel like with bolt ons an a tune it would be perfect..turbo would be ok too I guess. I think one did 100 dyno pulls with 400+whp and was fine so idk...I just don't want to give up my space and awd...even still I'm tempted to just go grab one though...probably an frs because the subaru dealer here is teh lose

call insurance. was it a shop THEY recommended to you? if so eat them out. if not go back and eat hte shop out. i had to deal with it, and my car came out good for what it was but this is ridiculous. i'm mad for you.

Celery, exactly. but i wont touch this motor, if anyhitng i'd swap. i know what motors are direct fits into the brz so i'd rather swap than turbo and NA motor and just have a time bomb.

Had to clean it up after getting my front end dirty from working on it all day yesterday. Here's a few pics immediately after the wash.

I'm pretty sure that's what most guys do here to black out that chrome trim. Just make sure to spend time taping them up cleanly. I'd also recommend to do 2 different sections of tape so that you can take off the tape that's actually masking the trim between coats. Hate to finish the job, go to pull the tape off and have all the plastidip come off with the tape!

Here's the only close pic I have... don't mind my dad chilling in that reflection

Nice, can we get a rear shot please? I'm wondering if the top of the wing has vinyl on it. Thanks.

How noticeable is the brace? I've been contemplating that one for a while, just haven't pulled the trigger on it yet.

i put mine on after i had could sways, endlinks and some bushings done. its felt a bit tighter but nothing THAT drastic. but it isn't an expensive mod to do so i say do it, plus it kind of adds some protection if you think about it. mine wil be for sale shortly.
