I wonder what it would capture during afterfire inside the exhaust tip.

Ill get it fairly close, but no penetration. Not even the tip.

FINE. I'll just lens-first the D90 into the exhaust, should fit fairly nicely.

Well after all this diffuser talk and the ht autos variant coming out poorly, i have pretty much decided i am going to make my own. i plan on going the full on plug, mold and then made out of carbon fiber route. still undecided on some things but i drew up some sketches tonight. I would alos consider making a few extras and selling them, would there be any interest in thta? well here is the design, still messing with it. it is somewhat based on the varis diffuser, the outer 6" on both ends are going to be nearly identical, but i didnt like how the middle section fit to the bumper in the pictures or the area directly below the exhaust tips, so i brought those edges more forward, i also in the center i brought part of the diffuer up on to the lower most vertical lip on the bumper to give it a more finished look. I also was planning on integrating the exhaust shields into it to make one piece but that would be extremely hard to make, so i decided to make a modified exhaust shield that later on could be bolted on or glue to the diffuser before instalation with very tight gaps to make it look like one piece.

I like how you did more fins, FTW!

Looks good, I like the added detail on the sides as well that direct more towards the rear tires...

If you make this diffuser I will buy it. But please try to make it at least semi-affordable! I don't mind if parts on my car are not carbon fiber...

Looks good but i think it would look better if u made the diffuser and exhaust heat shields as one solid piece that reconnects back with the middle part

If he could also make the mounting points on the underside where they are hidden that would be amazing. In my opinion nothing looks worse than exposed mounting hardware on any body kit items. Makes them look cheap.

Why does nobody make one like this for the hatch? I don't care for any of the ones already on the market.

I'm in for the new hta diffuser. I would love for a cf one. I'm curious how it affects the aero dynamics of the car.

highly doubt that will even be researched by them. its all for looks looks like it, otherwise it wouldn't be held on with pushclips and be so flexible as plastic
