Here's the better pic of the flapper. I'm surprised at the fact that you noticed the little silver handle in the previous pic.
What's the shifter look like?

The STi with WRX spoiler is the best combo ever. And I don't know why.

A light tint, like 30%, would definitely add to the look of your car.

Dr. ColorChip. Ordered Sunday night. It shipped Wednesday USPS 1st Class and arrived yesterday, from Florida.

It's not bad. It's obviously meant for tiny chips. I could see layering it throughout the week to hide large chunks of missing paint like I have. It only takes a minute to be dry to the touch. The sealant solution takes a minute or two to see results. All in all, for $50 shipped it's much better than dealing with the obvious chips in the paint. My car almost looks and feels 100% brand new now!

I've found that the little things of paint from the dealer work fine, matches the sparkle and everything perfectly. You can still notice it if you get right up on it, but overall looks fine. Costs less than 20 bucks. I'd be curious to compare the two.

I bought the OEM touch-up paint from the dealership months ago and just never applied it. It's actually sitting in the car right now... I'm wondering if I should give it a shot since I didn't go after ALL of the chips? I'm just sitting here at work letting the paint cure for a couple of hours. It apparently takes a week to completely cure, but can be exposed to weather right away.

I might try the OEM paint.

UPDATE:

Just tried the OEM stuff. Very interesting. I opted for the brush over the pen. It dries quickly. Dr. ColorChip is nice because you can wipe off excess shortly afterwards. I'm not so sure about the OEM, though. If it can be buffed and retain the filling then I'd vote for OEM for the price. Dr. ColorChip settles quickly and looks good right away while OEM requires 24 hours before it can be messed with. *shrug*

BAD SUBARU, they got the + and - on the manual shift mode backwards, very strange considering the sporty intentions of the car.

WTF! Why can't we get the STI w/ this transmission in the US? American dollars not as good?

Actually no the American dollar isn't good enough. Our dollar is virtually worthless.
