Question for anyone who can help me. my engine has been making really funny smells lately. and i cant seem to find where its comign from, i just recently put in a Tomioka (sp?) TB Hose? idk if its that since its new?? but even before that i had the smell, and this morning when i got to work i heard a ticking/clicking sound coming from the turbo side/turbo itself. not a typical valve tick. ive also noticed that when i drive in 4th or 5th and even 3rd i hear the turbo spool louder then usual, and then i hear a wine/hissing sound (which i know is that TB hose issue) but even with the new hose on it still makes it. has anyone ever had this issue? a sound coming from the turbo at idle/clicking/ticking?

also the fact that i have a new TB hose will that void my warranty?? i have the stock hose and one oring the other oring literally ripped in half, will i have an issue with this?? does anyone have the stock orings??

thanks guys in advanced just alil worried the dealer is gonna dick me around
quoting this for help

The turbo side has a louder tick than driver side on my car, but I'm stock before the catback.

Apparently the "what lip and wheels are those?" seem to be the most popular in here. Pictures go un noticed unless it's a blurry cell phone pic of course.

Amazing what sealing up a few gaps can do. I like all the tape 'art'

I think you should shoot your fog light housings as well. May make it all flow together nicely.

Ask and you shall receive! and please, don't quote 5 pictures and then ask what lip, or any other dumb questions, just PM the person who's picture that is...or SEARCH

The name quoted is "RC11". Also, I thought Rancer had a 2011 base STI and his gold BBS were actually gold BBS? Those look like repainted stock 2012 STI Limited BBS wheels.

yeah thats not rancer's speaking of him, i think he broke some kind of record at evo/sti day? or so i hear. regardless his car is hella function>form doubt he would wrap it

however that wrap looks decent but the sunroof being so shiny just messes everything up.

this is cool however...

Forgot to mention, these numbers were on Dyno-pack dynos. The mustang dyno here read a little lower, i cant remember exactly, it was just a cool shot. At the time of the shot it was running the TurboXS 50/50 value, hence the flames lol. The forge is much stronger and holds boost better.

Man that fmic gained u 4whp over me. I have 351hp/405tq on E85. Its amazing how that fuel makes our car run. I had originally wanted to have a fmic on for the tune but my tuner said it wouldn't help me much I'm glad I didn't do it and hack up my bumper even though fmics look really nice and aggressive. Now look into AOS. Need a new clutch lol.

I have the same problem, I am on the stock clutch and it slips under full throttle ( car only has 7k miles on it lol, definitely not worn).
Gotta say too, i have an e85 tune and a 93 reg gas tune, on 93 i run 318hp, 360 trq, and the idle is rough comapired to e85. Car runs so much better on it.
