Crappy design flaw in what I think is one of the nicer looking headlights Subaru has ever made. That sucks majorly.

How long are you going to do the break in for? Is your final tune going to be more aggressive with the new motor?

Also, I decided to put my wheels up FS or Trade since they're just sitting around at the moment. I'm in no hurry at all to get rid of them. I wouldn't even mind stick with them. I'm just seeing what's out there....

Mine was foggy the first night, and has been clear ever since...

I haven't seen any that were as bad as what you're describing, but then again, we have a pretty mild winter in SCIC.

500 miles then the rest on the dyno if needed. Maybe a little bit more aggressive since the motor is really built but not a whole lot more. I am actually really happy with the power level now and I am trying to resist the urge for more. With no e85 pumps close to the house...there isn't any real reason to jack up the boost on 93oct. I would guess that I'll be around 420 wheel on the new motor.

You could always run meth, always lots of winter windshield wash available (47%methanol) :P

I don't really like the idea with meth. Yes you make power...but what if the injector goes bad or the pump at the track. You are tuned for the addition and it suddenly just dries up. I have seen some systems that have a safety in place but I would rather have straight up fuel. Maybe I'll do a C16 map or something.

I dunno man, the kits out now have great fail safes built in to prevent anything from happening, but I do understand the concern. I personally think meth is the easiest way to get more power, and it's cheaper than e85 as you don't use it when you're not in boost.

Any worries about how the transmission will hold up if you look for more power or would you look at doing a swap/upgrade at that point?

No worries right now. If I get to xluben torque levels then it becomes an issue. For right now...the clutch and the transmission look fantastic.

Stopped by a dealership today and sat in a sedan! Let me put it this way, I was ready to part with my bugeye right then and there and drive away in it and not look back! They are everything and more from what I have heard and seen. I am extremely jealous of everybody in this thread.
