Wheels don't spontaneously combust lol there had to be prior damage or otherwise he hit something. Otherwise, the third party branding the wheel as being safe according to industry standards are to blame

or there was a bubble in the metal due to inferior manufacturing and material and it just finally had to much. I don't care, its not my car or life, get whatever wheels you want. Personally i wouldn't risk it.

All quality aside, I've never even liked the way XXR's look on Subarus. Especially with the 11+, any XXR wide enough to fit the widebody just looks awkward to me.

The newer models don't have the right offsets for the wider wheels on a widebody WRX/STI. They're all way too low to fit without a huge stretch or a lot of camber.

Well, consider yourself lucky, then! Mine makes some noise in the cold I'm finding. Mostly doors and dash; cheap plastic coverings. Just makes me think my exhaust should be louder

My gf asked what that rattling noise was, so I'm getting a louder exhaust so she won't hear it. Win/win situation. Haha.

mine rattled but it would be so minor and would go away from time to time. even hte brz rattles time to time

and please stop asking why people dont buy a certain wheel, when you tires cost more than your rim what do you expect, honestly? buying a NEW set for under 600$ and you think its good quality, you're lying to yourself. nothing against replica wheels, or knock offs but even rota's are not exactly 'cheap' they run for around 1k for a good size/offset.

do xxr's do their job as a wheel yes, do they look good, some may differ on that. but in hte end you get what you paid for.

my dash creaks in the cold and its hard to downshift into 2nd before its warmed up

i think the rotas of today are a bit better than early on when everyone had hondas with exploding slipstreams

My rattle is from the port installed homelink mirror. Everything else seems quiet.

I don't think I have a panel that doesn't make noise in the car. It sounds like an 89 civic.

You don't love your $30k civic?!

After safelite replaced my windshield, I have rattles in both bottom corners and they snapped a small piece of the mirror mount so it rattles too! Yay!

It's not exactly a quality interior. Even the carpet is super cheap and got all matted down after one winter with all season mats. Oh well, what do you expect for s 25k sports car. At least it's fun to drive.
