Start at top of a 1+ mile long hill, clear trip A, start rolling down the hill in gear. When you reach the bottom, take a pic of your MPG readings.

Haha. These are two wheels that I love the look of. If they weighed 19lbs or less in 18x9.5" I would probably buy one of them. But I'm guessing they both weigh over 20lbs

Relevant to the Rays 57Xtremes at 18x9.5:
STD spec are ~ 20lbs (weigh in @ 19.8lbs)
SP spec are ~ 18.75lbs (~$350 extra per set)

Well done for cast wheels.

It could use a leeeeetle more low. Otherwise agree, good combo there.

Also both rays wheels posted above are damn good looking. Xluben, now that you have whored every hatch exhaust, time to move to whoreing wheels. I mean that in the best way possible.

Gram lights 57DR

18x9.5 +38 5x100

Not 100% sure on the weight, but Togue Factory claims 19.5lbs over on ft86club

Nice find! That's probably right, they have photos of a ton of wheels on their site:

http://tougefactory.com/shop/gallery/wheels/

None of the 57DR specifically, but the 57D is 20.1lbs (in 18x9.5") so the DR should be a little less.

Enkei RPF-1 in 18x9.5" is only 17.55lbs!!!! Makes everything else look so heavy!

http://tougefactory.com/shop/gallery.../wheelweight8/

It's pretty much the only thing I can find that's 18x9.5" and equal to or lighter than my current 17x9's.

I like the WRX badge added. Always wondered why they got rid of that on 08+ STIs.

Much appreciated!
I can't tell, but is the diffuser paint matched as well?
Only the exhaust finishers look black.

Any chance I could trouble you for a straight on shot from the rear?

I like the OEM grill a lot better, but I'm not sure I like the gloss black paint on it. The front lip is still a bit much for me.

The lower valence in the rear looks really, really out of place with that stock exhaust. It doesn't look like it was meant to be there at all.

Sideskirts I do like. Especially paint matched.

Quit yer complaining and buy RPF-1s already! I'd recommend the silver finish (not the shiny one)

NT0-3s are around 19 lbs too. These two are the only 'affordable' wheels I came across that are under 20lbs. Until the super duper mach V awesomes came out

If you look bellow that post I provided a link for the thread on how to do it.

Involves dremmeling the tails open, prepping, painting, and sealing back together. Very easy to **** up.
