love the car and all, but for the love of god why does everyone think candid photos are cool. i dont want to tilt my head or my entire laptop to see your photo

bake your headlights and it will look so much cleaner!

wont REALLY make as much a difference as you think. and do you mean scrape the ground, or you're rubbing in the front? regarldess doesn't sound like its much fun to drive hard, what rates did you go with?

bursted out laughing

yay meaty!!!!! can't wait to see it, and to fit 265's (depending on brand) you're gonna have to raise it a decent amount.
lmao idk i was walking out and decided hey why not lol plan is to bake the headlights, black them out and glass staining the high beam bowls yellow, just torn on whether to black everything out or leave the blinker bowl chrome, i dont rub my fender or wheel well at all its the mudflap that basically drags in the front on uneven roads, the bc's i have are stock spring rates, but i want something stiffer, not sure what spring rates to go with. im excited for the 265's, and i never wanted this height it jus looked great and decided to leave it for the time being. i love it. but with the tires im going to eventually higher it a bit

i had 8k/10k rates and loved it. if you're gonna swap springs/rates just shell out an some extra money and go with SWIFT spring upgrades.

you should delete the amber in the side of it, and do a light spray of the black chrome shadow by duplicolor on the reflectors, it will still shine but will be black-ish.

here is how mine came out on the brz:

stock:

three VERY light dustings:

you can do the same on the highbeams. the problem is it doesn't go on as even as you would like because of the honeycomb pattern of hte reflector, so a few light coats will just cut that sharp chrome look and dull it down, while still keeping it as reflective as OEM.

so then it looks like this(i know this pictures aren't 2011+ but i'm trying to show what the shadow paint does):

my buddy did his 2012 headlights with the duplicolor shadow, i'll try to snap some shots for you.

i just used flat black engine enamel. or you can use gloss. wait, you're painting the projector lens yellow? IMO that isn't the right way to do it, if anything do a demon eye. as in put a color LED into the lens thus it will be the color of the led. doing red on my buddy's wrx soon.

no not the projector lens, the high beam bowl is going to be glass stained yellow. i have seen people paint the cut off plate to give the projector a color effect behind it.

sorry for the ig picture lol saw this from a dude whos following me

Added blue pin stripe on the grill. Blue on blue turned out pretty nice IMO.

from amazon. Just look up pinstripe 1/4. However Amazon has a new weird program on some of the item like the pinstripe which only cost $3.58 but it's an add-on item so they wouldn't let me purchase it by itself. It has to be included in an order of $25. Luckily I had to buy a new USB drive and some stuff so I was able to get it. Try ebay.

Here's a crappy picture of mine that I painted a week ago or so. I used satin black on the chrome and the Duplicolor Shadow on the signal bowls. Came out great and they still reflect the signals effectively. Don't think you'll keep the light output on the high beams, though. haha

I took a couple pictures with my DSLR to show them better, but I haven't taken them off my camera yet.

Thanks. Yeah, 25mm spacers, stock height with a slight roll in back. I'll be going with a slight drop eventually, but nothing too crazy. About what xluben has now, or what rsutton had before his coils. I'm actually thinking about going with the same RCE/Bils setup he had. We'll see.
