nice! finally got the ride height all figured out.

all that's left now i to get rid of the chrome trim on the door, around the badges/headlight/fender wrx trim. and it'll look great! also some tint wont hurt but i know VA doesn't have the nicest of cops.

just let me know what you want, pm me and we can talk about this better.

in all honesty you should go 35% all around if you're going to tint at all. 50% will be too minor. i always did 20% and loved it.

yea i want to go 35 but the state law says the fronts have to be 50 at most. Idk if cops will even be able to tell the difference though, it probably won't be a problem with 35% all around

Overall, pretty happy but I need to play around with the settings more and figure out a better technique.

if you dont mind wasting more soap and water than usual, this technique works really well, and you really minimize swirls.

hell even if you don't want to use a foam gun just watch to learn about basic wash techniques-using straight lines, two bucket method, grit guards, etc etc

Cool, thanks i'll check it out.

Also - awesome work on the projectors. I really wanna do that but worry about resealing them.

you literally dont have to worry about resealing them. if anything just add some extra silicone to them. the biggest worry is not getting dust or anything inside when you're resealing them...and also its just a long process to bake, paint let dry. etc etc. and if you're doing this the wiring is just a lot of time.

but if you were to do it, put your over at 250'. headlights go in for about 7 minutes, then see if you can pull them apart, if not put them back in for a few minutes...make sure to take all the bulbs out, and the 5 bolts holding hte headlights together out. can leave harness in ust make sure its not touching the top/side/bottom of hte oven.

then just pick what you want it to look like, mask, paint..etc etc. if you want to get the projector out, thats a PITA...be prepared to drill baby drill

^ Thanks, for the info. Also, that technique in the video of adding the hydrate when you dry was awesome. I often find that when i dry with the MF towels they get "stuck" or that you're really forcing it across the car, the way he dried it, it glided so nice.

Also, the way you baked/painted yours is how I would do mine, black out everything, and use that Chrome shadow duplicolor spray for the reflective portion of high beams.

Anyone in NNJ looking to trade trunks with my winged STi ? I wont settle for the WRX low rise spoiler. Looking for wingless only like the above pic.

Has anyone hear tinted/ overlay the 3rd brake light on the spoiler (hatch model)? I think it would look good and was curious if anyone had pics of it done.
