I have a true hard-on for wingless STI sedans. If they screw up the new STI, I'm definitely picking one up before they're gone.

I took some quick shots of the VF52 vs. the DOM 1.5XTR.

Obviously the VF52 is used (but in excellent condition), and the DOM is brand new.

Birthday present from my little brother.
Lathe werks stainless shifter in gunmetal. It may be a placebo effect but I love shifting so much more. Makes me wish I had a fast&furious transmission with 20 gears. Jk.

Yes. Across that whole section. And in the crevice around the shifter.

I had the same problem. Switch my 11 sti regulator with an 07 sti and it fixed it right up. You could always go aftermarket with like aeromotive, but that's gunna be like $200. Got mine off an 07 sti for free and had no problem after that.

did you need any sort of special bracket for the 07 regulator or did it bolt right up? is any extra tuning necessary or will it simply fix everything as soon as its bolted on?

Tbh, I just zip-tied mine on. It looks clean and like it's suppose to be there, but it doesn't just bolt right up. Brackets are different. All the lines and everything go right in with no problem though. No extra tune was necessary for me. Just put it in and it drove nice again.
