rsutton1223... You! my friend have a great eye for modding your car!!! I have followed your thread for over a year now and I love everything that you have done to your WRX. Keep up the good work and I hope that you can inspire more people like myself to take pride in their vehicles and respect what others do to theirs. There is never a negative word from you even when the haters show their faces.. I tip my hat to you sir!!!!!

There are new ones in the works...along with a couple of other things. The ones I did have on the car were ruined in the wreck.

Thanks!!! Huge compliment.

I have always taken the approach that I mod my car for me. Not what it might be worth or what others will think of it online. Every single decision I have made on the purchase and modding is how I want it to conform to my lifestyle and tastes. The feedback I get from you guys is a HUGE bonus as I put my heart and soul into the car. As with anything in life that anyone puts this much effort into...the appreciation for the work is awesome.

I have almost no credit and I'm 24. I pay $610 for 6 months of insurance via Progressive for my 2011 WRX hatch.

I dont think credit has much to do with it. I believe it is based off of mostly the following:

-Location vehicle will be kept
-Driving record
-Age of driver
-Theft rate of vehicle being insured
-Year of vehicle
-Type of vehicle
-I'm sure their is more

I think there was also insurance history. In talking with some of the folks at various insurance companies, they said I had no prior insurance history because I always had mine under my parents. The more insurance history you have, it seems like they're more likely to lower your insurance rates.

So the thick wet unplowed snow cracked my bumper, and part of my fender liner.
So I thought that means I HAD to buy a lip to help sturdy things up a bit. At least that's what I told the fiancÚ. Lol.
Plus my Buddy was selling it.

I'm surprised how nice the pictures on my phone turn out.

I pay $540 every 6 months. 26, clean driving record. Anyways to keep things on topic. Until winter winds down you'll have to deal with looking at my crappy wheels lol and until my tax return gets here and I buy a good camera here you'll have to deal with my crappy phone pictures.

Thanks. I'm starting my TRS retrofit tomorrow evening and really debating just blacking out the entire housing and just using the HID's, since they're bi-xenon. I like the look of the yellow but now I would almost prefer that they were blacked out.

I didnt like the spoiler on the STI's but it grew on me and I decided to trade my trunk straight across for and STI one about a year after I got my car. I get crap here and there about it but I dont care really, I just tell myself that I am faster than a stock STI so it doesnt matter. Lol also I keep my wrx emblems on as well, I am proud of my WRX and dont wish for it to be an STI I just decided I liked the spoiler. I am lowered on Swift Sport springs, it lowered it about 3/4" but I really did it to stiffen up. I feel it stiffened things up just perfect for what I wanted. I didnt want it to have too harsh of a ride seeing how its my DD and I take 3-5hr trips in it frequently. Thanks for the compliment btw.

As others have said, credit doesn't have much to do with it.

I used to pay 780/6 in RI and now I pay about 336/6 in MA. No changes at all to the full coverage.

They're factory bulbs. The reflectors in the housing are painted yellow.
