Are you living in Germany, and hadn't updated your location yet? Not sure of too many places stateside where you can do "130-140mph pulls".

It's okay. I used to write in all caps when I first joined. The adults yelled at me too.

About half of this section was already broken off or worn away and the remaining part had a big crack in it. I attempted repairing the cracked part with zip ties and then secured it all to various points on the car with a few more zip ties. I'm not sure if it will hold or not.
POWER!!!! hahaha

I had this same exact issue (although not nearly as bad as the picture above haha) when I first ran at a track here in cali with a decent size straight away where I was topping out at 130ish. The force of everything snapped most of the little plastic clips under the car and in the fender lining. My fender lining wasn't damaged like yours so I used zipties with little polyurethane washers to secure it and haven't had problems since.

As for the underbody panel, I ended up getting a nice 1/8" aluminum undertray from from Primitive Enterprises. Only issue was the ability for heat to dissapate under the car, so I had to wrap my headers after that to cool things down at the track, normal driving was completely fine. I thought you had nicely wrapped EL headers so you should be fine if you considered this...

You can only do it at the track or an airstrip. Otherwise you have to go to Mexico.

Mine is beyond an easy fix. I have a feeling it will just tear apart again. A full underbody would be nice. Maybe could help aerodynamics too. I do have a wrapped header so I'll have to look into that.

Here is a shot right after I installed the Eibach Springs and Sway bars. I am pretty happy with the ride, performance and looks.

Xluben,

Do you think it was damaged before? I track my car a few times a year and obviously that big of a piece of plastic can create a hazard for other drivers. I've never had a problem with mine. I might put a camera on the underside the next time in at the track just to see what's going on down there.

I had bad luck with that battery in my MR2, but then again I was leaving it out at -40 all the time...

I did the same thing!!! I was asleep most of monday so I woke up to hear some sprinkling. Then I look outside and see my car is now brown instead of white. I just washed her again today though, I couldn't stand looking at her like that.

Nice, I like my eibachs. I put on 1/4 saggy butt spacers to level it out. They're enough for me to be okay about the wheel gap and not be too oversprung or low for factory shocks.

Yes, it was damaged before. It had to be cut to fit the FMIC, and then the plastic broke near the mounting point so I reattached it with a zip tie. Now it just ripped completely off and was missing a good junk of it.

It took me a while to decide which spring to go with. For the STI, the favorite option seems to be the RCE yellows which are a great setup for sure. After researching quite a bit and talking to RCE and Eibach I decided on the Eibach because they were specific to the 11+ sedan, in terms of spring rate, and they give the car a slight forward rake making the front and rear gaps the same. Also, the Eibach kit comes with new bump stops and sways for about 500.00 bucks so it is a good value.

got some new wheels

Went for the '11 limited (or canada spec?) stockers. I can't lower for the time being, would scrape like mad coming out of my very narrow driveway (can't take it at an angle) and Pittsburgh roads are absolute **** anyway.

I like it, makes it a little different than all of the other 11/12 WRXs & STi's you see everywhere now
