Aww, someone's upset 'cause there's a MUCH better car (EVO X, STi, etc) than their crapbox WRX. There there, don't cry.
I'm just kidding, it's mean to pick on 17 year olds who use the word "hater" in arguments.

So you spent a few years without a car? No wonder you shed a few tears when you got the subie!

Congrats on the new car! My 13 SWP should be here next week. Been a long month.

The cars on the last page all looked great! Loved the SWP on RPF1's, and the rallycar.

I have never once used the word "hater" in this thread. But hey I guess if I had a wrx with unpainted fog covers, unpainted side moldings and a partially alcantara interior that looks like a 3 year old rigged it up in arts and crafts class I would think of it as a "crapbox" too.

I guess DGM painted and plastidipped parts counts as unpainted now Yo Celery GT, news flash, your wheels are now unpainted!
You're upset that I called the car your mommy and daddy partially paid for a crapbox? Poor baby
Edit:
You know your car's got pretty much the same powertrain as an '05 LGT right?

y0 garudatwo..don't be h8in on mAh rimz s0n

The wrx is a crapbox...thats the trade off you make for the performance. They take a car that starts under $18000, turn the interior plastics black, add some red stitching, drivetrain and better wheel/tire suspension bits. Fast crapbox..the sti and evo are too. Anyone who thinks they aren't is in denial about what they chose to buy, or has never been in a nice car.

time to go check on my unpainted wheels lol

also epic rally car is epic

taken completely out of context. And congrats, you used a rubberized rattle can to coat your body panels, real high quality work right there. And what's your point about it being the same powertrain as a lgt? You seem to really hate this car you purchased willfully

edit (summary): your car is still the worst looking car in this thread, bar none

knowing what you bought and hating what you bought are two veeeerrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyy different things.

plastidip comes off when you pull on it so I really dont see how you can diss someone for messing around with it. Its spray on rubber wrap that protects whatever is underneath it. If you make something look bad with it you just pull it off.

i'm just dissing him for making fun of the car as a whole when his car is the only one in this thread I would consider a "crapbox." A car that has awd, accelerates to 60 in under 5 seconds stock, and is capable enough to do all and more that a normal sedan should not be considered a "crapbox" just because it has plastic interior trim. There are cars far more expensive that have the same type of plastic interiors. Were you looking for a genuine stained wood interior with carbon fiber inserts for 25 grand. Be real.

Someone's in denial

Look kiddo, we're not putting down the hours at work your mommy and daddy put in to buy you this car, we're just saying....that the WRX is a crapbox, and that you have one (or your parents/whoever it's registered to). I love my crapbox mind you, but I also know its techs are old as hell and pretty irrelevant considering what other companies are doing these days.

Is that the only thing you can diss me about? You don't read real good, eh? They paid for a fraction of the car, and I paid for all mods and everything since. I'm done arguing, have fun spraying your car with rubber

It's not a "diss" if it's true kiddo. I really hope you're wearing a flat brimmed cap while typing all this, it would make my day.
When they paid 20K out of 25K, might as well be theirs

Just FYI, my car's been plastidip free for 3 month now. On the path to rehab

That said, enjoy your parent's 3 year old crapbox and let's look at the pretty photos here

Can't we all just play nice under the rainbow! We are car enthusiasts. I don't care if your parents bought you gas or the whole car. If you are not an idiot you are okay in my book. To that though plasti dip is hella fun!!!
