That is true.

Good thing mine are 6k, so I have 25% less lumens to "blind people" with.

Thank you for getting it back on track. I love the look of the hyper-yellows in the FTP's. Had the Nokya's for a while but one of them burned out in a scary blaze of glory, so I'm back to the stockers. What brand of bulbs are those?

Me too, I always loved the look. Had them on my M and got the same ones for the WRX. Really? Scary stuff man. They are actually the nokya's (DRL and Fogs). Been running Nokya in the WRX and past cars for years with no issues.

I put the high beams on, and the passenger side Nokya bulb flared REALLY bright, then went out. No idea what happened. The bulbs were meticulously wiped with isopropyl and polished clean before they went in. Who knows.

Mine? Thank you! Just finished it up this past weekend. They are the OEM STI projectors with a TSXR Clear lens and washer mod for more color on the cutoff.

Hmm, that's strange. Could have just been a defective bulb. I've been happy with my Nokya's for years. Never an issue.

That's funny, mine have finger prints all over it and still works fine. Are you sure you got the right ones?

Positive. The bulb was totally fingerprint-free when I took it out. The filament was in bits, and there was a black mark on the inside.

+1, I did the same thing with mine. Had them in my fogs of my m3, then I switched them over to the WRX and got another set in 9005 for the DRL's.

be real. in a reflector housing it's horrible, that is true.
I had this in my VW Golf before I got my WRX. I thought they were awesome, but after a year with them I realized how badly I was blinding everyone. I only ever got flashed when I was on dark country roads and I didn't know why. After doing proper research i realized how awful it must have been.

PS, sorry for taking this so completely off track just asking if I could PNP WRX Limited or STi headlight assembly into my base As redemption here she was almost brand new right after getting my tint done!

Fitment that is both looks and function is 18x9.5 +38 to +35. Anything more than that will require excessive camber, fender rolling, fender pulling, etc.

When you say "more than that" you mean less than that, correct? As in less than +35. The lower the offset, the further away from stock you are.

I meant any more aggressive than that. But yes. You are correct.
