the 04 S4 one was a v8 as was the USDM RS4. The old twin turbo RS4 just had uprgraded turbos over the S4(T03s or T04s I don't remember). The current S4 is a supercharged V6

the A4 style started in 02, the V8 S4 came along in 04 and the RS4(which was a higher reving v8 with 400+hp) was like 06 or something

as far as the old one goes
Quote:
The original B5 Audi RS 4 Avant quattro (Typ 8D)[2] was introduced by Audi in late 1999, for main production and sale from 2000, as the successor to the Porsche / quattro GmbH joint venture-developed Audi RS2 Avant. The vehicle, like its RS2 predecessor, was available only as an Avant and was built on an existing platform, in this case the Volkswagen Group B5 platform shared with the A4 and S4. Retail price was around DM 103,584. The RS 4 was available for sale in most of Europe, parts of Asia and in some Latin American countries.
Audi produced 6,030 units between 1999 and 2001.
so if that really is an RS4, it was imported

edit:
also if you read that paragraph, it was only available as an avant(wagon) and I'm pretty sure that yellow car is a sedan

That and the body fenders was flared. Just like the m3 compared to a regular 3 series.

Thanks and yes it was for you. Looks very much like mine but with much nicer looking wheels. I wish those wheels weighed 5lbs less each and I'd probably have them. I love that look. My car is 100% road tuned. Maybe you can find a good e-tuner to work with?

Indeed i love the DGM and the wheels, i do agree with the wheels, they are very heavy.. But look awesome!! which is why I run my stockies with Advan A050's when i go to the track

I was looking to buy some lighter rims for track but have decided to build a GC8 trackcar instead so i can race properly (none of this time trial stuff) and feel extra safe! Rollcage etc

Have you made it to the Strip yet? I know you was planning to go at one stage...

Road tuned.. Wow. Well in that case i might look at doing something afterall.. I was just worried about making such modifications and not running it on the dyno..
Currently the Car is tuned by Eric at TP - Love his work.

Thanks dude. They are great rims and the 18x9.5 +38s are perfect fitment.

I ordered these:

And just taped up the center and then sprayed the outside with black paint.

I just found the silver took away from the wheel and made you focus on the silver..
Also did the side badges in Black Plastidip

Your old car is the reason i got mine

TiC SST's don't go that much lower, Will look at it soon but for the moment i am happy with the height - I park underground so clearance is an issue!
