HA! I miss those BG days. The days of working on your car in a parking lot and eating nothing from Ramen to pay for more car parts. It's a shame, the wife won't let us live off Ramen to do such things today

Looks great man, did you use a heat gun or oven, any chance of write up of your process?

Thanks guys!
I'm working on something close to a write up but there was a change of plans mid way through the paint process so it's tough to make sense of some of the images. However, I did use an oven to easily split open the lights though.

Sure, up for a DIY or sending them to be done?

I find this image funny as you can slide you hand over half of one side and completely change the look of the car, then switch to the other.
Good vs. Evil, haha

Definitely not DIY. Instead of me sending you mine, shoot me a PM because I know alot of guys get rid of their chrome ones from the 12 and 13 STi's and put them up for sale for like $50-$60 or so. So if we can scoop a set of those and have you do them I'd love to give you money lol. Can you possibly take a few more different angled pics to see them from all around? They look super mean, but I really love the painted high beam bowls the most.

Looks like DEPO is making blacked out lights for our cars as well. So if you just want an easy solution, they look decent.

Sure man, when I finish the other side I'll snap some better shots with a polorizor to get rid of some of the reflections.
Should be within a couple days. Once complete, I can figure out a price too.
Thanks!

Sounds good! I actually was talking to Flex'n not to long ago and he told me to shoot you a PM as he had the S206 side skirts on a white car, and I wanted to see what the CS style rear aprons would look on the car, combined with his side skirts. A lot of people say it wouldn't match, others say it should be fine. I think it should be, but he told me to ask you to to see if you can possibly PS black aprons onto his car at a side angle since mine is white already. Although I have a hatch, it doesn't matter because the bottom portion should look somewhat the same.

The Depos do look good, but I could have sworn i heard somewhere that the quality is terrible and the something with the lights not functioning. I couldn't tell you where I saw it, but I'm pretty sure I read it somewhere.

Few months back haven't had a chance to take new ones with the tint and a few other items installed.

Just for future reference, if you ever have images you want PSed we have a active thread for it. Just be sure to actually provide the images and you should be helped within a day.

I was in there for a bit. I need to again so I can keep learning photoshop.

Also overland, I'm usually not too into yellow painted lights, but I am digging that look, very unique. I was viewing on a phone so it was easy to zoom in and cover one half or the other. I'm in for better shots.

Thanks, I actually already had my wheels PS'ed some different colors. I only asked Overland because I spoke with a friend of his already and they all have pictures together and of eachothers cars. So I was just asking him to use his friends car with the skirts I already want on a swp, and just do the aprons. Instead of me posting all those pics and waiting and such. His friend actually told me to ask him to do it for me lol. But it doesn't matter anymore really, I'm probably just going to stick with the skirts only for now.
