Progress update on the Process West fmic.
It will clear an AEM intake if you remove both the support tabs.

Here is a pic from camping this weekend. I messed around with a little. I think it looks cool.

Besthaticouldo love the mirrors!!! how bad was that install, is there a switch on the inside, is it OEM or you had to go with your own switch?

in case anyone is interested i'm selling my entire setup. the price is OBO and i can ship honestly anywhere.

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2520873

here are some of my photos taken with this setup, i'm sure you remember some of them

im trying to decide on my next car dont know yet really its between 08-09 sti hatch or 2011 wrx sedan. whats the difference in the front end. and are there any major differences in the body between 2011 sti sedan and 2011 wrx sedan. is it just the big spoiler?

well...if you're deciding solely on looks then just get a wrx. you can swap ANY 08+ sti to a 2011 front end with just a bumper/grill.

however the 6-speed, dccd, brembos, 5x114 etc etc is worth a lot more then some cosmetics. also look into insurance etc etc. but cosmetically 2011 sti vs 2011 wrx difference is wing and badging..and brembos if you look for them.

the wiring was hard for me, i absolutely suck at it. took me about 6 hours total to do, anyone proficient with wiring it will take less time.

well worth it, i absolutely love the mod. adds that cool factor to the car.

thanks for the info i want to go for a sti but price is a factor. i really like the 2011 sedan model better than the hatch but a used 2011 sti sedan is still in the 30k price range. so im looking at i can get a used 2011 wrx sedan for 20k or a 08-09 used sti hatch for 23k. i like the sedan a lot better but i do want the 6 speed dccd brembos. and the hatch is probably better to carry around my dog. anybody have input on this.

What you're going to do with the car is a huge factor. I bought a '13 STI sedan thinking that I was going to DD the car an leave it well alone as far as mods. Now I am planning a serious stage 2 and stance setup with KWV3s etc... You may find that a WRX is a better platform depending on what you're going to change. Especially since your viewing this thread, be prepared to get the mod bug hard!

2012 wrx sedan is plenty for DD.. still quick with/without simple mods.

08-09 sti hatch has a slightly different front bumper, you can see it in the other members car gallery thread. In my opinion the 2011-2013 wrx/sti front bumper is more aggressive. Wider profile and fenders can be expected on wrx/sti trim levels on the 11-13 model years. If I were you I'd pick up the 11 wrx sedan. As its newer and looks very similar to 2011-2013 sti minus the brembos/wheels and yes the iconic sti large spoiler.

yea i had a bugeye before and i did a simple turbo upgrade making over 300 whp and a act stg 2 clutch i never had any issues with the weak 5 spd. i dont plan on doing auto crossing just a mild turbo upgrade and some suspension and fun driving with a track day to get a time, nothing crazy. the 2011 wrx and sti look exactly the same to me besides the wing and mirror lights. id have no problem just goin for a 2011 wrx sedan but i would not want my 5 spd to break
id like to own a sti but id be looking at 08-09 hatches and i like the hatches just not enough to drop 25k on.
