Best, appreciate the text a ton! I'm out in my garage sweating my ass off getting this all hooked up.

Isn't wiring fun!

PM me for details but for now, unplug the radio before you burn something out.
Overland, I misspoke, in position 2 Acc only the radio is on. In position 3 I was seeing the dash lights. I guess I just never noticed them. I had in my head that something was wrong since I didn't use all the harnesses. Seems all is working. I created a new thread for this. I will update through the week as I get this all set up.

Plug and play unit from Canadian 2012 STI in my USDM 2011 STI.

What's the big hype on Canadian HU's?

It's a AVIC-X9310BT, the exact same thing as a AVIC-X930BT, except instead of hacking up your harness, this is a plug and play solution. Pioneer makes their own harness for this radio to interface with your Subaru. So you don't need SVXdc harness or PAC SWC since it is all included on the Pioneer one.

Installed my mudflaps and new side shot to show the lowering springs

This one is a big fail on the focus. Still adjusting to the new bokeh of my new lens. Manual focus still hard for me on some shot.

Actually you're right. my mistake. only with the key in ON does the dash light up.

Quick question, I am preparing to remove the reflector out of my headlights, but I see most people painting the reflectors then reinstalling. Wondering do the headlights look strange without the reflectors? Any one have pics of headlights that just have the orange reflector removed? My car is a 2011 so it does have the dark headlights. Thanks in advance!

That looks pretty mean. I think if you did black/red on the subaru emblem it would blend it all in better

Mine look the same as Gregor's. If you need any more pictures, let me know and I'll take some when I get home from work.

Looking at these pictures... I really need to change out those amber bulbs!

Beautiful car. Do you have any pics of it at normal ride height, i.e. not aired out?

It's all personal taste. I don't think it looks bad with the camber reflector removed, but I do think it looks better painted to match. I painted mine the same gloss black I painted my housings with. I think it keeps things cleaner inside the headlight.

(sorry don't have too many shots of the sides painted)

I wrote a thread detailing some of the audio system improvements on the Sport-Tech package from the Canadian market STi (I have a CDM 2012 Sport-Tech STi hatchback).

Take a look here: Dissection of a 2012 Canadian Domestic Market "Sport-Tech" STi's audio upgrades

I literally did the headlight blackout last night, and I can tell you that it makes more sense to just paint the reflector (looks a lot cleaner imo). Really easy mod, and makes a big difference in the fascia of the car. Do it!
