I'm not sure if I want to go the HID route on my fogs, so would putting overlays help in my situation? I might try changing the bulbs also as suggested from others who were in my situation.
Why don't you try this: http://www.westernsubaruclub.com/smf...?topic=28896.0

Seems to greatly increase the output and is free! I don't have any experience with it, since I don't even have fogs yet, but it looks like it'll do exactly what you are looking for! Brighter output.

I didn't get that impression from the Cobb Trade-In page here:

Oh wow, they're on Long Island! May I ask how much it cost you to get bumper shaved?

Not sure the specific cost as I had one price for the bumper and fenders as a deal.
If you are interested, call them and ask for Will.

I'm getting the same impression as well, but I emailed Cobb to get an accurate response. If that's the case, maybe i'll get the V3 just because of the trade-in deal, otherwise I wouldn't bother since it would cost so much.

Just got a reply from Cobb...

"We are not requiring any proof of purchase for the V3 trade in program. The process you described of buying a new V3, then un-marrying and sending your V2 to us is correct!"

Added a red billet aluminum battery tie down I got off ebay. Made in the USA though, and only $35 shipped. I wanted a red battery tie down from perrin or cobb, but they don't seem to offer it.
