Well, I have left the 2.5i family and joined the WRX family. I just returned home from the dealership with a '13 WRX Premium hatch in WRB. Loving it so far!

Consider a perfect scenario of an exhaust system flowing at 100%. When your running a quad tip, the exhaust should split at the Y 50/50. In this case the system is running close around 20L/80R from the rear of the car. This causes the system to produce excess back pressure while it is being forced mostly out of one side; note single exit exhausts running a single large mouth tip. Also consider that this back pressure increases the overall exhaust temperature. Temperature from this and the UEL headers = detriment to cylinder 2 and 4 under steady load. Then again, your probably not racing with this 500LBS exhaust system.

I wouldn't consider this in the top 5 for quality at all!
DTS?

Maybe yours was manufactured subpar. I'm not arguing the flow at this point, but the welds on mine were spectacularly done and looked very good. I'm running it mated to a Cobb downpipe and as far as I'm concerned, it sounds and looks great, flow issues or not, and very few people have it compared to invidia/nameless/etc.

I am here just never post much. Autobahn Monday with MVP. I've been there about 6 or 7 times this year so far. Next year I hope to get up to Road America and Blackhawk (I live 10 minutes from Autobahn and I'm too lazy to go anywhere else yet).

Headed to Morris tonight. Should be 900+ cars.

@ ionoo-

I've had several different exhaust systems on my sedan . And ARK was thee only one that surpassed in all categories and standards.
The exhaust system is not heavy at all, and the flow rate is not even questionable. The welds are best in the market. And the sound isn't even in the same level as other manufactures . It's in a class all it's own. I have yet to find another exhaust to even compete.

BTW the y pipe on the DTS is evenly split to both sides . You had the GRIP

Here are two clips of the Turbo XS exhaust as requested. They were recorded with an iPhone so the quality is lacking.

Stage 2 with catted downpipe

BTW if you're OCD, the tips down line up perfect. They stick out about a 1/4" more on the drivers side

I finally was able to find someone with a nice camera and do a little photoshoot and some editing!
My 2013 STi, DGM. Going Stage 2 (just have the SPT CBE now) when the money comes in, with a separate winter set up (wheels/tires/rack).
