Is this the actual car, or just similar? Also what year. I've always loved Nissan, just never owned one. Love the mid 90's 240, with hologram speedometer.

Nope, not the actual car. The car I'll probably be getting is a 71 240z with 41k original miles. Hasn't been driven in 5 years. But it is a 1 owner car (someone I know well), has been garaged for the last 20+ years. Had it running with relative ease about 5 years ago, drove it around the block. Needs work, but is a Cali car so no rust and body is in great shape. It'll eventually become something similar to that car above.

Couple things have to fall in place for it to happen. He's gotta decide 100% that I can have it, I may need to find a place with a 2 car garage instead of a 1 car (not necessary, but I'd like to keep the WRX garaged), and I'd have to arrange shipping/transport from CA.

600$? Who does your body work you are getting ripped. If you know the right people I'd say 200-250 max

Hm.. I'll take it to some local body shops to get an estimate. Hope they'll paint my trunk trim for free!

If they paint your trunk trim it will need to be sanded and prepped to be done properly which will take an hour or two plus paint time. I doubt they'll do it for free unless you have some sort of hook up with your body shop or they fudge the insurance report if your going through your insurance.

Headlights done. Picture taken at night with hardly any ambient light. 20 sec exposure, ISO 800.

honestly that sounds spot on to me. i'd replace the bumper cover at 250 then 250 for quality paint. so yeah right around 500. it's plastic and creased. to get it to fix properly you should just replace the cover
