Default Map help, my car was stolen tough times...

Yep, my car was stolen and shortly recovered but with a decent amount of damage (about 2.5K in parts worth). When I picked up my car it obviously had a few things missing including my Cobb Accessport with my custom tune on it. The ECU and everything remains as it was with the tune still loaded and running great.

My question is; is there a anyway I can get that tune off my ECU and back onto the Cobb without blowing more money on a re-tune. I'm in college and have a very decent job but even so money is still short, especially after the holiday season.

Some info that might prove to be useful and as always thanks for the help
2002 WRX
VF39
650cc injectors
TurboXS FMIC
Grimmspeed uppipe w/TiAL 38mm EWG
Full 3" Catless Exhaust
Perrin Short Ram Intake
and much much more... will list if needed...

I would like to also just give the people at Cobb a big thank you again for all the help and helping me out with the replacement

Was the original AccessPORT a version 1 (B&W screen) or version 2 (color screen)? I assume your new AccessPORT is version 2?

Since a map is just a file, if you have a copy on your computer or if the tuner has a copy, you would be able simply copy it to your new AccessPORT (assuming they are both version 2 AccessPORTs) and reflash to the car.

It was a V2 but for some reason I have my old tunes (previous to the one I need... lots of new mods requiring retunes) saved on my computer. I did call the tuner and they don't have the map saved either.

I don't believe there's anything you can do at this point, but let me check with some of my associates to make sure.

Shoot us a PM - we might be able to do something in this case. Whatever you do, do not install the new AP or the custom tune will be lost.
