Question How do i freaken launch

Hey guys i really need help w/ my launch. For the most part i know that slipping the clutch is best, but what rpm do u hold it at how fast do u slip the clutch etc. Ive tried holding it at 3k and 4k as i slip the clutch but to no evail i feel like im launching slow. My friend has seen some dude launch his stock wrx by slipping his clutch and this fool just ripped right out of the gate, i want to be able to do that. I know practice makes perfect ive been practicing, but u know what practice aint squat without proper technique.

So i beg of all u wrx gods help me in my quest for a better launch.

You guys have consecutive member no.s!!! And run a search, will yiel TONS of stuff. Depends how hard you wanna be on your tranny. If you dont care, bounce of the rev limiter and drop the clutch. That shoudl work well. jk....

anyways, back to the topic, i rev to 5k rpm and i slip the clutch the same speed as i was shifting from 1st to 2nd. i don't know good is that for my time or tranny, but i was getting cosistent 2.1sec 60ft times. and btw, isn't this in the wrong forum?
