Default Mach V Winter-That-Wasn't Dyno Day 2/25/12

What: Mach V Winter-That-Wasn't Dyno Day and Meet

When: 2/25/12, 10am to 4pm

Where: 45690 Elmwood Ct Suite 170
Sterling, VA 20166

Details:

If you haven't seen us advertise this before, dyno day offers the chance to get a baseline or updated dyno numbers on your car for a smaller fee than on normal workdays. Slots are 40 minutes, which is usually enough for 3-4 pulls. (Actually more, if you want...) It's a great social educational event, too, as lots of people come to watch and compare notes. Feel free to stop in and hang out even if you're not dyno-ing. Rate info is in our Mid-A vendor thread.

If you're dyno-ing your car, you'll get a paper graph to take with you, and we can also email you your dyno data files, so you can store/analyze/post your results to your heart's content.

Price? Also what if we just want to dyno to check out numbers? Not do multiple pulls/changes...

Hopefully can make this 1

We generally do 3-4 pulls to get a read on how much a car is making. So the price is the same either way. We're not doing any tuning during this event; the short time slots don't allow it.

I'll probably be there to hang out. Are other non awd cars allowed on the dyno?

Wait, are you asking the exact same question as the guy before my post that I just answered his question?

dan,

I am interested to run my roadster on the dyno, just to see what 45years and 98k miles has done to the original 96HP.

Would a carb car work with all the new electronics of the dyno?

I think I'm going to jump on this. How does payment work? Prepay or Pay at the door(dyno)?

You call us, reserve a slot by giving us a credit card. That way, if you don't show, we can charge you. But when you DO show, you can pay however you want. The credit card is just insurance for us so we don't have a bunch of paid staffers standing around picking their noses and doing nothing.

I may be interested in the dyno day with A/F...

It'd give me an excuse to head down and check out the shop!

Put me down for a tentative. Will know more in the next week or so whether I'm on call at the EOC for work.

I'm tempted to bring the M10-powered e30 rallycross car out, just to see if it puts down under or over 80whp

And here I thought I'd be setting the low numbers of the day with the Legacy. Now we've got folks wanting to dyno cars with even less power! Crazy!

Hopefully the weather will support bringing the Mustang, as that will be more impressive to see (~400rwhp of naturally aspirated Windsor goodness).
